Hey, everyone who happens to read this....
School's starting soon. I'm not gonna be on the computer all day. I havent been on for the last week and a half because I ws on vacation. Anyways.
This guild, though enjoyable, is not one of my top internet priorities, so I have decided to drop out because I won't do anything in it anyways once school gets started. Sorry to all the friends I have made in my short time.
Bye *overdramatic sob* I know y'all won't really miss me too much.
~Ebbster

Hello all. I am sort of new to Gaia, and new to the Guild, so I'd thought I'd say a brief hello. I have been reading Tolkien for about 23 years now, and there is nothing of his that I have not read at this point. I have also read a huge amount of books about the Man himself. Other than my Tolkien insanity, I love most literature, I'm a music and art nut, etc...Although I love classics and Russian lit. my fave genre is probably SciFi/Fantasy. The only thing I don't really care to read is Romance. I'm a writer, and love poetry. Oh, I'm a Chomsky nut, too. You either get that one, or you don't. Hi to all my fellow Tolkienatics, have a nice day! heart

Hello all.
I'm still pretty new to Gaia and I'm just sorta enjoying floating around the groups and playing online.
When the Lord of the Rings movies came out I wasn't ready to see them really, but this fall I knew it was finally time to sit down and watch the load of them. My god, I was so drawn in and in a month I've fallen in love with Tolkien.
In between Philosophy papers and the like, I've been starting out reading The Hobbit, and I'll be reading the whole series.
I might be a little quiet on this board at first, because I don't think watching the movies will do justice to knowing enough about Tolkien's works. I'll probably become more active after I finish The Hobbit and start in on the LOTR books.
A little about me: I'm an English Major in a college in Canada. I hope to write many books when I'm older and graduate. I enjoy anything with a mystical/magical celtic bend and some science ficion too. As well as being a LOTR's fan, I'm also a fan of Harry Potter and TMNT. I enjoy keeping fish (and a hermit crab) and I have a couple of bonsai trees. Spiritually, one might call me a Pagan, but I wouldn't, as that's a rather limiting box to put me in. I prefer "natural spirituality". I'm also a part time artist, but not professional in the least. I'm a Reiki master in the Usui tradition. Uhmm.. can't think of much else at the moment.
*goes off to keep reading The Hobbit*

Ok were should I start? Well first of I am Kenshin Kiyuraki. I am probably one of the biggest Lord of The Rings freaks you could ever meet! Basicly for the fact that I have the DVD's, Books (including other Tolkien Books.) PS2 Games, Computer Games, LOTR Table-top Battle Stradegy Game (Or models if you prefer to call them.) and Board Games!
And if I am not playing, watching or reading the LOTR I am either playing Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy and Battlefleet Gothic. (These are other Table-top games I play.) Or playing a game on my computer or PS2. Or I come online and talk on gaia.
I am in the Royal Canadian Army Cadets in 204 Algonquin Regt. As a platoon Sergent.
Oh yes and I can't forget about me being an anime freak! I pretty much like any anime and manga!
