Ryan looked at Alister and then said, "But my dad's probably worried sick about me. I- I don't want to put him through that." Ryan knew that if Alister wanted, he could easily keep her from going anywhere so she stayed put.... for now.

"Oh yes im sure," he said sarcasticly, "He's the most worried man in the world. Sure enough he will show that worriedness though the pain in you."
Alister hated the man even if he's never laid eyes upon him or knew anything about him. He jsut didnt like him, period.

Ryan looked down and sat there. She put her hands in her lap and looked at them with sad eyes. She knew it was true, but her dad was the only family she had. Ryan turned her head away from Alister and sighed softly.
(Sorry, I have to go to bed at 10 on school nights.)

Alister showed no emotion for a few seconds and decieded this was a topic that he didnt need or want, to stay on.
"You hungry?" he asked looking toward his fridge, not knowing if food was stored there.

Ryan shook her head quietly and said, "Not really..." She was already forming a plan to go back to her house. Whether her dad was drunk or not would decide whether he worried or not, but Ryan didn't care. She just wanted to go home. A day ago she had everything in her life under control, then she met Alister and everything changed. She wanted to go home where something was normal. She hated the feeling of her life slipping out of her hands. She would sneak out after Alister went back to sleep.

Alister nodded as he looked out the window, the once comforting blackness, now a haunting blanket. He grabbed a chair and set his head down on the table, looking tired and worn, today was too much for him. He sighed.
"There's a bed upstairs, if you want to sleep up there," he said closing his eyes. As much as Alister trusted this girl a lurking feeling had arisen that he would wake up alone tomorrow, but not having the strength to move, he didnt.

"Yes," he said his voice withered by the stress and tearing of the day. No more was he going to stay up so late anymore, even being vampire, he was almost like an everyday person. His heart wouldnt beat blood through him if it got too tired.
"But..." he said his eyes flickering open, "I hope i can trust you enough to not stay awake all night long."

Ryan looked at Alister with a small smile and then said, "I won't can go to sleep right here on the couch. Just go to sleep. Everything'll be ok." Ryan smiled brightly and then laided back, closing her eyes and acting like she was asleep. She was waiting and would take her chance when she got it. She just had to see something that was still normal.

Alister just turned his head away, he didn't trust her, obviously but it would be a sin to keep her here. Away from family, so he just laid there with his eyes closed, still as a rock. He just wanted to see when she would, if she would, go home.

Ryan laided there for about an hour or so and then got up, as quiet as a mouse. She sneaked towards the door in the dark and opened the door slightly. She was going to take a bus home... If the vampires didn't get her first. And if that didn't happen, her dad would probably get really made at her. She didn't care anyway though. She just wanted to see her dad.

Alister then turned his head, just in time to watch her walk down the street, if he wanted to, he would go and catch her but instead just let her go. Hopefully Darek's minions weren't hungry tonight, or anything else that was lurking around for dinner.

Ryan walked along the streets, making sure to stay out of sight. She made it to the bus stop and looked around. She sat on the bench under the dim light and waited for the bus calmly. She just hoped that she would be able to make it home in one peice.

Sniffing along the cold streets of the city went along a wolf, his pelt the color of steel and eyes icy enough to pierce.
The wolf spotted a young girl along the bus stop, his ears perked, he hadn't had a friend for a long time. As if smiling the wolf stepped up his pace and trotted toward this girl, his head high and tail wagging.
