The boy sighed softly. Hiei had sounded like he was trying to explain himself, like he thought he had done something wrong. The kitsune didn't want that, for him to feel as though he had been admonished. It was his hope that the other would feel completely comfortable, to be more like he normally was. Was that a selfish hope? Was it really reasonable to want him to be normal after the things that had happened?

When Hiei came out, he was wearing the clothing the other had given him. He took the other clothing up to the room he'd emerged from earlier. He sat the clothing on the bed, before returning to search for Kurama. He really didn't feel very safe alone.

It didn't take very long for them to meet up again, seeing as how the fox had been waiting for him at the foot of the stairs. The other did look quite nice in the outfit, though it was a bit large. It complimented his features. "You look cute, you know," the boy said, meaning to sort of tease him. He was, mostly, looking for a reaction, though he did mean it entirely.

Hiei's face turned a bright shade of scarlet when the other commented. He looked baffled and shocked to have heard the comment come from the other. He didn't know what to think, his mind was suddenly empty of any words. "I-I-I do?" He wondered grasping what words he could remember.
It somehow seemed very pathetic.

The fox would never tire of seeing the other blush. Yes, he was hopeless, and cuteness was a weak spot of his. "Yes, Hiei, you do," he answered, a smile on his lips. It was amusing the way, the way the other acted at such comments. He ended up looking so embarrassed. How could someone help but to find him cute?

Hiei blushed even deeper at that comment, if it was even possible. He looked at the other, somewhat happy by the compliments. "Thank- you." He commented, truthfully.

Deciding that he had teased the boy enough, he asked, "Is there anything you would like to do?" Though it had been tempting to make more comments about his appearance, he didn't want to irritate the other. There were many things he would've done had he not thought that Hiei would dislike it. The now-human would probably be sort of surprised by the question asked, or at least not be used to it. The fox did know that he had been given hardly any choices.

"We- Well.... I don't know... Um.... I guess I wouldn't mind going for a walk or, something like that." He finally concluded, but from the lost look on his face, he had no clue as to what to do in the first place.

Kurama had asked in the first place not only because he had wanted to do something the other would like, but also because he hadn't had any idea himself as to what would be good to do. Most of the things he normally did would be considered boring, surely. "Would you like to go to the park, then?" The park was the best thing, since there was decent scenery there, and it'd be relatively safe.

The fox smiled slightly, then proceeded to get them both ready to leave. The most important part of that was, of course, packing the snacks. It was hardly long after that they had started on their way. The boy kept an eye on the other, making sure that he wasn't getting tired or anything like that. He didn't want him to use too much energy, and really wouldn't mind carrying him.

Hiei was easily distracted by lots of things, it had been a while since he'd been allowed outside like this, well, allowed outside without feeling scared mindless. And his eyes seemed to shine as he tried to take everything in at once. It was a nice day out too....

The scenery was quite normal to the fox-human, so the main thing he paid attention to was the other boy. He seemed intrigued by what he saw, yet it wasn't anything truly special. Such little things were reminders of what he must have been through. And even though he realized that, he still managed to think he looked rather cute, yet again. But this time he would not mention it, since there really wasn't a reason to.

Hiei didn't wander too far from the other though. The feeling of being safe only seemed able within a certain distance from the other. They had been passing some shops when Hiei became entranced by one of the kimono in the display window. It was beautiful. And since he now had an understanding as to why people would enjoy beauty. It seemed more captivating to him.
