Richard blinked, now really confused. He knew he wasn't telekinetic; he did have some kinetic absorption skill, but definitely no psychic talents that he knew of.

"Hello? Yes, we have a problem...Tracking chip...alright." The nurse was saying. "We have some experts coming in to remove the chip." she said. China looked at Richie, then back to the nurse. "When it's out, may we see it? I might be able to deactivate it." she said.

Richard exhaled softly shrugging fractionally. He concentrated as he sat on the bed nearby, feeling a slight tingling deep within him. He sensed rather than saw a deep reservoir of energy within him, calm like a lake before it freezes.

both elaise and jean had remained silent as they listened to richie and china talk. jean looked up when she heard the nurse mention a tracking chip.
" so let me get this right they've put a tracking chip in the head of a young girl." she muttered beginning to get annoyed at whoever had done this to the girl lying on the bed in front of her. she looked at elaise " we're going to have to be carefull, they may already know she's hear and it sounds like they won't stop until they get her back. if only scott and the professor where here as well." she said loudly.
elaise looked at jean and frowned slightly " they're not going to get any where near her. i won't let them, and i know you won't either." she said softly glancing at china before standing up and heading to the other side of the room.

Richard exhaled. "If they try, I'm gonna do my best to put them on ice, and I don't mean killing them," he said, making a really morbid pun.

" i'm sure you'l have nothing to worry about. your safe here, we won't let them get there hands on you." jean said softly smiling at china before looking at richie " i don't doubt you will, your powers really are quite extrodinary."
elaise stood leaning agaisnt at counter at the other side of the room from them, relaxing slightly she opened her mind and allowed her power of empathy to take control, feeling the emotions in the room. opening her eyes she looked at jean. there's something wrong, someone in this rooms hiding something i can feel it. she thought to her, seeing eans eyes widen slightly, she smiled before looking around the room.

Richard noticed neither of them commented on the color change with his skin, which was now a faintly glowing neon blue.

" what is it?" jean said softly taking a step tawards china and looking over at the nurse. there's something weird about her. she said to elaise telepathically.
elaise read the nurses thoughts and feelings and shivered slightly. she's not what she seems be carefull with her. she replied before looking at richie her eyes widening slightly she moved towards him and lay her hand on his shoulder " are you alright?" she siad softly acknoling the she'd noticed the colour change of his skin.

Richard's eyes narrowed fractionally, noticing a split second change in the nurse's eyes. "She isn't what she appears, all right!!" he snarled, releasing a burst of blue energy at her. The woman leaped back acrobatically, a smirk crossing her face. The icy energy hit the wall and froze on impact in a shimmering sheet of ice.

elaise stepped forward towards the women, recognising her " you." she growled hitting the women with a burst of energy which sent her flying back into the wall.
jean moved forward so that she was between china andthe women, her eyes narrowed when she saw the way the women moved " it's pointless hiding who you are now. we all know." she said her eyes narrowing again.

 The woman smirked, then shifted forms. "Does it look like I'm trying to hurt the girl? She has a chip in her that needs to come out," she said dryly. "Gee, I wonder... yeah, actually, it does," Richard said in a dry and annoyed tone.

" do you really think we're going to trust you." elaise growled beginning to get more annoyed with her " what do you want with her?"
jean continued to stand beside china her hand resting on the girls shoulder as she watched elaise. calm down, she might be able to help us and you know it. we'l just have to keep an eye on her. she said to elaise telepathically. " calm down china. we won't let her any where near you."
