"That would probably be wise," Lore mused as he browsed the shelves, looking for certain books.
He noticed one on basics of humunoid anatomy, which was completely different than saying human, he grabbed that one from the shelf flipping through the index.

As Lore flipped through the book, Elnara's eyes caught some of the words ... and she noticed that a great many of them were far longer than any English word she had read before. A look of fear crossed her face briefly. Would she be able to read this book well enough to get anything out of it?

"Hmmm... this won't do," Lore murmured a bit, "Too much use in Latin," he muttered putting it back before looking for one that had at least more layman's terms."
Afterall she wasn't going to medical school, it wasn't like she had to do major sugergy on anyone.

Elnara blinked. "Latin?" she repeated curiously. "What's that?"

"Latin is what most would call a dead language, it isn't spoken in normal conversation anymore, it is also the ancestor of the English language," Lore explained, "Quite a number of words used in English are derived from Latin, because Latin tends to hold a lot of other meanings and because the act of medince is equally as old, parts of the body have often two names, the common name, which is in English, and the medicial name, which is in Latin."
Lore sighed a bit.
"It's an interesting language but so problematic to learn, you either spend half of a human life time to learn to be anywhere near fluent, or you just be fluent enough to somewhat understand, but you would need a lot of language books to translate."

"Oh," Elnara said in a very small voice, her brow furrowing with worry.
What was she getting herself into? Was she going to end up over her head with this?
But still ... "I think it would be neat to learn the language anyways," she mused. "Just for the sake of learning it ... I love learning languages, and I'd like to learn as many as I can."
She shrugged. "I learned all the languages of my home world when I was young already, I guess one good thing about coming here is that there are so many more I can learn."
If she had someone to teach her, that was.

Lore smiled reassuringly at her, picking out a book that had both and checking it over before handing it too her, "I'm sure you'll do fine, it's just a lot of memorization for most students anyhow. Don't let the big words worry you, it's all diagrams in here, and only basic explaination on how things work."
High school level from the looks of it, which was rare for a mutli race book to begin with.
Meanwhile in a more open part of the library Yuki was bugging a certain someone, with his arms around her shoulder as he pouted, "Tris...." he murmured nearly nestling his face into the crook of her neck, "You didn't even hear what I had to say."

A young man, dressed in a stylish deep blue vest with gold trip, a white dress shirt and pants twitched as he tilted his head to the side to give Yuki more room. The man, who was actually a woman, binding her breasts to look like a male twitched an eye as she tried to pay attention to the book she was trying to shelf.
"Yuki, as much as I love a good love story, telling me about Lore's personal life does not count, you don't know if it's just him being nice," she added, "He is after all a gentleman," she raised her brow at Yuki as if to give a hint.
Rather, she wanted him to let her work, unless the situtation had to do with their mission, now was not the time. As much as she would love to bother Lore on the matter. Though personally she was glad the man finally found someone, if he indeed found anyone at all.

Skye was growing fidgety once more, getting bored with so many pictures that all looked the same. Besides, Celebor and Serenity seemed to be having a lot more fun with it than she was. So she left them and started wandering around again, wondering what other sorts of things there were in the library that she would find, what other places there were to explore.
She wandered down the aisle, heading back towards the door out of the Children's Room. Elnara nodded as she took the book, and smiled widely. "Thank you," she smiled sincerely. "I'm sure it will be a great help for me." She started flipping through it, tucking her hair behind her ear as it continually fell forward into her face.

"I hope it will," Lore replied with a smile, watching her under hood eyes, why was it he thought a lady looking through a book was cute?
He had been around books too long he finally decided after a moment of thought.
Yuki rolled his eyes, his love was being serious again, she had been since work began to pick up both in undercover and real life. He snatched the book from her hands, after all he couldn't have his beloved dance partner die from stress now could he.
"You need a dance," he told her.

Tristan rolled her eyes at him as she tried to get the book back, "I am not doing a pas de deux with you Yuki. There's work to get done," she sighed again trying to focus.
Despite the fact that Yuki was wearing a fake vest that make it look like he had breasts, she couldn't ignore the rest of his torso, which annoyed her greatly.

Skye waved to Rune as she passed the desk on her way out of the Children's Room, and continued on cheerfully. She went past the desk where they had gone when they had first come into the library, and headed out into the rows of books. Elnara felt Lore's eyes on her, different than most eyes that looked on her were, and she glanced up at him curiously, closing the book. "What are you looking at?" she asked, feeling slightly self-conscious.

Lore coughed a bit, trying to hide the blush that was creeping up his neck, "I.. well..." he tried tp explain, "Was just.... watching you study," he mumbled a bit even though he knew she probably could still hear, "very pretty."
"Please?" Yuki begged pulling Tristan close to himself, he chuckled at the strange pair the two made, it would probably give people the wrong idea since he was... well the one in the skirt.

Tristan sighed again, she couldn't say no. They hadn't really danced with things becoming more... bothersome. She wished for easier times, perhaps them not being part of the team and being themselves, but she had promised...
"Fine," Tristan muttered as she undid her hair, "But get yourself out of those heels, you'll twist your ankle if you tried to dance in them."

Skye peered down the rows that she passed, watching the different people that she saw. There were lots of people here ... and lots of books. Not seeing anything worth stopping for, she kept going. Elnara did indeed hear what Lore had said - how could she not, with her elven hearing? - and she blushed deeply and lowered her eyes. She had no idea how to respond, or even if she should. On the one hand, she felt flattered - but on the other hand, she felt a little self-conscious. "I can't be that fascinating," she murmured, letting her hair fall forward into her face and not bothering to pull it back again, trying to hide her embarrassment at least somewhat.
