Hey everybody. As you can see from my extremely shabby avatar, I just recently joined Gaia. Eqadromos is an IRL friend of mine, and I saw him surfing this place once and thought I'd check it out. I'm not sure what to make of this place yet, but at least there seems to be a good forum here.
Well, what to say... I'm a 22 year old guy from Norway who got into electronic music in the early 90's, the glory days of Dance music. The cheesy dance music of those days was what actually turned me on to music for real. I hadn't really been interested in music at all until then. I guess 2 Unlimited was to blame, hehe. "Workaholic" on MTV, ah the memories. smile
A bit later on, when I was 14, I was introduced to Happy Hardcore through a friend of mine. Happy Hardcore back in those days was a lot less trancy, and to this day, that HHC style is what I like the most. Through HHC I discovered Hardcore Techno and Gabber just a year or two later. The early Thunderdome albums from ID&T sparked my interest, and it has remained my favourite EDM style ever since, though I must admit that I enjoy the newer stuff a lot more than the older stuff. A dream of mine is to attend the Thunderdome party itself, on which the compilations are based. It's a HUGE party, usually held in Amsterdam, or thereabouts. We're talking about maybe 20-30,000 people! But I digress...
Nowadays, I can listen to practically anything within electronic music. To me, the genre or style never matters as long as I enjoy it, and I can enjoy practically anything. In recent weeks however, I've found that my interest has gone more towards Breaks and D&B, but with me you never know what I'll be crazy about next.
I'm looking forward to browsing this forum a bit. I'm a bit of a lurker though, so don't expect much. razz
That is all...

Hey, my name's DJ Daggoth. I enjoy Jungle and Euro, but I have an odd tendency to make trace. I should have some of my music on a link soon for people to sample, PM me if you know a free site I could use temporarily. I'm hopin` too see everyone around. I tend to be an insomniac.
EDIT: More info: I got my royalties set up through BGM ^^ for some contract work for Venus model search DvD. I'm 90% sure that I will be working at "The City" in Cancun, Mexico this summer.

Hi my name is Purple Angelica I was invited to join this guild after a heated disscussion in the GD about raves. I recommend visiting that thread, it was pretty hilarious.
I am a candy raver, think huge phat pants, made out of strawberry shortcake sheets, a pokemon shirt, a huge fluff ball chain of multi colored goodness, a daffy duck whistle o round my neck and so many rave bracelets ( I treasure them all!) and sex bracelets ( not that I follow the rules ) to make your head spin. My nickname in school was plastic.
I enjoy east indian goa music progressive trance and when Im doped up some happy hardcore ( none of that classical music remixed stoof LOLZ. ) some videogame remixed trace tracks are alright.
Favorite ever... the chemical brothers, surrender is like.. my prefect soundtrack for raving goodness.
I am more of a candy raver in remission, as you get older its a little hard to sport as much candy gear as I used to. But in my heart theres a rave going on that will never end. heart
