Two Guardians entered the room. They wore similar armor that Ranmyaku had worn before he had left. Long Swords drawn and tomes on there belt. They looked over at all the guests. It seems they had let the wrong person in this time. They had known of heru and he was a valued member for the longest time. Though they didn't know this man, it is clear that he wasn't wanted. "Sir, your going to have to leave." They raised the palms of there hands and readied a spell. "Ranmyaku's orders are clear and we intend to do him proud." They said as they kept there distance from the man with the cigarette. They didn't know what a lighter was since it didn't exist in there dimension.

Kyu stared at the man in front of him and scoffed, "Old?, when you get to be over four hundred come talk to me."

Quickly pulling his katana from it's sheath he pointed the blade at the man's throat and growled. "Now I suggest you put your sword away before things get ugly boy!."

Michael narrowed his eyes at his old adversary's words, yet he didn't back down until Katherine intervened, at which point he slipped the rusted and overworked blade back in it's home.

He offered a simple grunt in response, but his tone softened as she kissed his cheek, and he whispered a bit in her ear, "I still wouldn't trust him, Katherine.. You know what he's done to you.."

At the sound of Ran's name, Katherine's body tensed, "Ran... Is he here with you?" Her voice was soft and she made no mention to how Kyu described her as adulterous. She had cheated on him, even if she had broken it off with Michael long ago, it was the truth and she wasn't going to deny it. "Do I need to go to him? Has the wound healed well? Do I need to bring some medicinal herbs with me?" the questions continued to tumble out of her mouth with pure concern. Ran wasn't her biological child but she loved him just the same.

The two guards watched the conversation calm down to just words. The lowered their weapons and stepped outside, closing the door behind them. Once they got outside they murmured a small conversation to themselves.

1:"That guy looks an awful like..."
2:"That Kyu guy from the demon world."
1:"Do you think we would have stood a chance against him?"
2:"You crazy? He would just summon his demons down on this place like a mealstrom from the elemental lands. You know how that is."
1:"We barely survived that... you saying we would survive the invasion."
2:"Maybe... Ranmyaku has pulled us through worse. I can find demons, but remeber when that dragon swarm attacked us?"
1:"There was a dragon swarm?"
2:"Hell yeah, oh right you were on patrols."
1:"I miss all the good stuff I guess, what happened?"
2:"Well you came back and you asked and we told you."
1:"Right..."
2:"Your so retarded!"
1:"Already I get it! Now tell me how did our commander do it!"
2:"Well I really don't know much about what happened. He cast some sort of spell. He dissipated into a fade of what looked like a bunch of other spells. Then when he returned to normal, a hail of meteors came down from the heavens and smited all of the dragons. Remember when I told you; that you were eating dragon for lunch?"
1:"Yeah, and I told you 'your an idiot, you can't just hunt dragons for food.' and threw the porkchop at you."
2:"Well it wasn't a pork chop I can tell you."
Then silence for a moment...
1:"Really?"
2:"Yeah."
1:"That does sound interesting guess if an invasion came he could do something similar, but beat the great Kyu? Doubtful."
2:"Well I have heard rumors that Commander Ranmyaku has done some pretty dark things too..."
1:"You know it is treason to talk about such things."
2:"I know but hear me out, some things he has done for this place a pretty bad."
1: remained silent then continued. "What was that? the thing he did."
2: "my squad went out with him on a mission, and we had discovered a whole town of demons. Though our code states to judge every single one of them. He wiped them all out. Not saying he was doing something wrong. He was using Bane of Evil and it glowed the whole time, no doubt... just he killed them all so swiftly. I knew they were demons but, he even murdered the children."
1: "He probably said something though right?"
2: "Well yeah, when we asked him, he only said. 'They were all evil, and the children fostered it, they had no hope of becoming one with the light.' and with that we left."
1: "Wow..."
2: "Yeah... really says a lot about our commander."
1: "true..."
They stood at the door quiet now. At guard just in case ranmyaku showed up. This was probably his longest mission to date. Though they knew he would be back soon.

Ranmyaku entered Arda En Galad. All the Guardians of light watched him enter, and noticed his strange gauntlet. "Guardians to me. I have an important task." He summoned a War Horn into his hands. He blew into it and a loud boom echoed throughout the castle. Many of the servants and caretakers immediately hid and locked the doors behind themselves. The Guardians circled around there commander. Wondering what he would say.

He took in a deep sigh. Hands on his waist looking at the floor shaking his head. "Alright... I have to let you all know something very important." He said as he looked up to all the guardians of light. "I will not be around here anymore... and someone needs to take my place. I would do a trail of combat but there is neither the time or place to do it. I would recommend that you rally yourselves and hold a tournement, or come to a vote to who would be the best leader." Wiping a tear from his eye. He had served with them for so long. "It has been an honor to serve you all as you have fought with me. I never had much of a family, and you were all part of it."

He pointed them to the barracks. "Hide in there and prepare for anything. If anything bad happens I want you all to come out in full force and protect any civilians... but if you hear anything else... don't come out." They nodded and fell back into the barracks. Preparing for a massive attack.

Ranmyaku turned back to the gate waving Kairi to come in. "I believe you know where your sister is..." He said as he lead her anyways to the room she was in."

The old man listened to the conversation going between his Love and the man he hated for hurting her, and he simply glowered. Once the bit came up about him needing to be protected, he simply rose up, and hobbled to the door, speaking so they both could hear, "I will neither be protected by Kyuu, nor will I reside in his blasted home. I shall either remain here and risk the pain, or I will reside in the haven I used for years."

He stopped at the door and looked back at Kat, waiting to see what she replied with.

Kyu unsheathed his katana and rested it against his shoulder. "Somebodies confident. Let's see if you can back up it up." He said sneering at Micheal. Turning his head back towards Katherine he grimaced, "I guess I can entertain you get until you get your s**t back together."
