The young lord took her by the hand, and led her outside the manor. There was a path behind that went through a part of the forest that was more like a fancy garden than anything. At night it was lit by small blue-lighted lanterns, which cast an eerie, yet beautiful glow among flowers, bushes, and trees. There were many pretty flowers to be seen, and the greenery around was like being taken through a faerie land.
As he walked with her, he couldn't help how she looked so in place, and with the dress, she was perfect in the garden. He found himself staring, and gave himself another mental scolding before looking away. "I've been maintaining these grounds for a long time. I hope they are to your liking?" He said.
"About my servants. You will forgive their rudeness, they do not understand." He turned to face her for a moment. "However, there should be no future problems with them." He began to lead her along the path quietly.

Rose followed him out into the garden. Her eyes widened as she looked around. She slowly moved away from him and moved to one of the flowers. His words were more comfort to her than he would first think. "This is beautiful." She said softly as she plucked one of the white flowers. It had slight blue ting to the petals and a sapphire center. She sniffed it and looked up at him. She pulled away several times as to looked around the garden. A few times she saw the twinkle of fireflies as she walked. After straying ahead of him a ways she turned and looked at him. A firefly shimmered past her, causing her eyes to sparkle as she looked back at him. This was by far the best part of being in the manor.

The young lord kept his pace slow and steady, contentedly walking down the path. He watched as Rose admired the scenery, running ahead and looking around. She seemed so excited by it, so happy. He smirked as he watched her until she turned around ahead of him on the path, facing him.
"It is true, you do look better when you smile." He said softly. He stopped walking, looking at the girl in the long white dress, holding the flower from his garden. It was good at least that she'd found something pleasing about his manor. Perhaps she would be less miserable to have seen it.
He had a hard time drawing his eyes away from her, to look about at the scenery.

Rose looked away and blushed. "Can...Can I know your name?" she asked softly. She sounded almost embarrassed. Her eyes stayed down on the flower. Her crimson hair blowing around her as she stood there. After a moment she looked up, expecting him to be cold to her again. She still felt out of place and waited for him to scold her for hurting his people. Was he just toying with her, or was he trying to be kind to her?

The male blinked. "My name?" He asked, almost confused. Had he really gone this long without giving her his name? "I am lord Sebastian Ronadal Victrosen." He said. He'd gotten so used to everyone calling him 'my lord' that he'd forgotten to introduce himself to his guest. But it had to be forgivable, he hadn't had guests in far too long. But those reasons were expected, since he didn't much care for humans or demons outside his own circle of trusted people.
And that was his servants, as their devotion was beyond anything he'd known from the world outside. They were special though, and there was a reason they would willingly do anything for him, even throw away their lives. But that was between them and the young lord.
He couldn't help but notice that Rose looked rather stunning in the light of the blue lanterns, standing in that white dress among the garden scenery. As much as he hated to admit it, that dress did suit her rather well. He stared at her for a long moment before looking away. "Do you like my garden, lady Rose?" He asked.
Though he wasn't entirely sure it was a good idea, he was beginning to decide on giving her a chance, easing up on her a little bit. It was rare for him to do such a thing, since he usually showed his demonic side more, but there was perhaps something about this girl that had his attention, beyond just her power. Could he trust her? He was perhaps giving her the opportunity to answer that question.
(( Bleh, I'm half asleep I hope this post doesn't suck too much. ))

Rose looked up and smiled as she got his name. "Sebastian..." she said softly. It shocked her slightly how name rolled off her tongue. She smiled softly as she finally put a name to the lords face. She whispered it again to herself and let out a small giggle. "S-Sorry..." She looked away and back towards the garden. "Its nice to see something so beautiful among all the chaos and darkness outside of the manor." She moved closer to him, but as she did, the sprinklers went off and she let out a squeal of delight. She looked around as the water cascaded down her dress and made her laugh. She was finally starting to enjoy herself.

Sebastian did not seem as keen to be getting caught in the sprinklers as she did. He watched her dance around in the water, seeming happy and joyful, and he just looked confused, and bewildered. He clearly didn't fancy getting wet at the time, he didn't understand her excitement with it at all. The crimson eyed half demon gave her an odd look as he watched her prancing around.
"Perhaps we should go inside." He suggested, observing how soaked his own clothes were getting. At least the shock of the cold water had broken his thoughts about how good the girl looked in that dress. He glanced back at the manor, half expecting to see Millie watching them, amused. Expecting her to have been the one to turn on the sprinklers, but no one was watching. So they must have come on by the timer.
He looked at the girl again, waiting to see if she wanted to go inside, though she seemed rather content to be dancing in the sprinklers.

Rose stopped and smiled. She nodded and picked up her flower that she had dropped. Smiling to herself she walked into the manor before him and turned around. "I am sorry, its been a while since i had that much fun..." she said softly. Her crimson hair sticking to her face as she looked away. She was soaked from head to toe and her dress clung to her petite frame. Her eyes looked back up at him as a small blush broke over her cheeks. "You got a little wet too....sorry..."

Sebastian watched her pass him and go into the manor. The wet clothing certainly didn't leave much of her to the imagination, that was for sure. He felt the water soaking through his own clothing and growled as he forced that thought from his head. What was wrong with him?! This girl was a human.
He followed her up to the porch where they were out of the sprinkler's range, and saw her turn to face him in the doorway. Really didn't leave much to the imagination. He nodded slightly, expression neutral, not really hearing much of what she said since he was staring at her.
Catching the part where she mentioned that he'd gotten wet too, he broke his thoughts and looked down at his clothes. "I suppose I'll just have to change into something dry." He said with a forced smile. "I'll call for Millie to get you some dry clothes as well."
He began to head into the manor, the servant who came to the door frowning at the water trail he left on the floor. "My lord... you've made quite the mess.." He started to say, but Sebastian turned his crimson gaze on him. "I'm sure it isn't too much for you to handle." He said with a smirk. The servant bowed as the young lord walked away.

As Rose passed the servant, she could have sworn he sneered at her but she didnt quite catch it. She followed the lord in for a ways before Millie stole her away. Rose gasped as she was pulled into another room and quickly stripped and redressed, this time in a pale blue gown that fit her nicely but also showed innocence. Millie then shooed her out of the room and went to cleaning. Rose stood there in the hallway, unsure what to do now.

A servant passed by Rose and saw her standing there looking lost. He paused in his duties and glanced to her. "If you're looking for the young lord, you can find him in his quarters, that way." He said, pointing her toward Sebastian's room. He then continued down the hallway to carry on with whatever it was he was doing.
The servant had been misinformed, he had thought Sebastian was in his room, and had it been two minutes prior he would have been correct, but Sebastian was no longer in his room when those directions had been given, which if the girl went to find him there, she would possibly think that servant lied to her.
The young lord was out on the terrace balcony, he was standing there, now out of reach of the sprinklers and in dry clothes, looking out over the grounds.

Rose followed the servants directions and went to find the lord. When she found he wasn't in his room she felt deeply confused. Maybe the servant was wrong? She wanted to believe the best as she wandered the halls. A short walk later and she found herself in a corridor she had never been in. She stopped and looked around, something about this place seemed to be different. She followed it for a long ways until she came to a set of doors. Slowly she opened them and found herself in a circular room with a pillow in the middle. As she stepped into it, the doors slammed behind her and she felt everything around her spin. Voices began chanting and she spun around trying to pinpoint one before she fell onto the pillow. 'Relax your mind.' a voice said. Slowly she pulled herself up into a seated position and nodded. This was odd to her. Where was she? She felt a strange pull inside her and a white light began to fill the room.

Sebastian leaned against the railing on the balcony as he looked over the grounds. Slowly, his eyes went toward the sky, and he gazed up at the stars in silence. For now, the manor was at peace, but he knew it would only last so long. They had driven away the attacking demons for now, but they would return again after they had time to regroup. The half demon narrowed his eyes.
Perhaps he could change that fate. He could track them and sneak into their lair, perform a surprise attack. If he was careful, he could take out a good number of them without getting caught, and return to the manor, buying himself and his staff more time to prepare before the inevitable attack came about. It was a plan that had the potential to work, but at the same time, it was a huge risk, for if he was caught, it would not be good.
However, he was growing tired of sitting around and waiting for the fight to come to him once more. He'd already lost many of his servants, and it was time to strike back. However, he didn't plan to sacrifice anyone in his endeavor, if he was to go, he would go alone.
Deep in thought, he went back inside the manor and began walking down the hallway toward his room. He wouldn't make any hasty decisions, he would think it over before deciding what he would do.

The room around Rose became so blinding that she had to close her eyes. She felt herself be pulled into another realm of existence. Before her stood another young woman. "H-Hello?" Rose called to her as she opened her eyes. The woman smiled and sat before her. Her long golden hair framing her porceline face as she stared at Rose. "Hello Rose." she said softly. "My name is Elizabeth." Rose stared at her in awe. The mother of Sebastian, and lover of the demon lord, how? "I am sorry. My soul was sealed in this room as punishment for my sins. Only one with spiritual power matching my own could come in here. In other words, my reincarnation." Rose stared at her dumbfounded. "Its alright my dear, you are not me. But the demon lord thinks you are. You must help my son, protect him, and save my love." Rose shook her head unable to understand. "How?" But as the word left her lips, the room faded back into her vision. The vision of Elizabeth was now far gone. Slowly Rose stood, feeling shaken by what she had seen. Outside the room, time would have passed by quite a bit. Also only Sebastian would have felt a strange pure magic pulse from somewhere in the manor. Rose slowly left the room, confused as to what had just happened.

When Rose opened the door, she would find herself face to face with Sebastian, who was reaching out for the door handle. He had a most confused expression, his crimson eyes slightly narrowed. The strange pulse of magic had brought him to this part of the house, looking to find out where it had come from, and what had caused it.
However, seeing Rose there seemed to make him either more curious, or lose track of why he'd come down there. It was hard to tell just by the look on his face. Had the magic pulse come from her? Probably. He gave her an irritated sigh. "You can't go using your powers randomly like that, especially at night." He said, leading her down the hall away from the room. Had that room been there before? Regardless that didn't matter right now. "That last pulse wasn't very strong, so you don't have to worry, but still, if you keep doing that and there are demons nearby, you could put us all in danger." He said.
His hair was still damp from the sprinklers, though now he was dressed in dry clothing, though he seemed to have a thing for fancier clothing, making himself look like a proper manor lord, if not a bit old fashioned. However, it was definitely elegant evening clothes, since he wasn't ready to sleep yet. "Also where have you been hiding?" He asked in a more friendly tone. "My servant said he sent you to my room over an hour ago, but I haven't seen you until now."
