The sickness would pass with time, hopefully. He had been through so much already.... This really wasn't fair. "I'll do what I can to fix that," the red-head said, planning to essentially baby him until he was perfectly well.

Hiei had somehow fallen asleep again, though when he had no clue but he knew one thing, he was safe, he would be safe as long as Kurama was there with him.... When he woke, feeling better, however, Kurama was not in the room any longer. Hiei wasn't sure what to do... He knew Kurama wouldn't of left him if he'd thought the demon- turned human would wake up. Hiei got up, and slowly but steadily made his way downstairs towards the kitchen....

Kurama had gotten out of bed only a few minutes before, and had intended to make a proper meal for them both. The now-human boy needed to be taken care of, so making food was the least he could do. He had hoped that the other would stay in bed, asleep, for a while longer, but apparently that was not the case.

Hiei crept quietly towards the small table in the kitchen, before looking up at Kurama, who didn't seem to of noticed him at all.

The red-head smiled softly and looked towards Hiei, acknowledging his presence. "Good morning." Not long after, he brought two plates to the table, setting them both down, then taking his seat.

"Morning." Hiei acknowleged, looking at the plate.

The amount of food seemed rather massive, but it was the orange juice he picked up first, drinking some slowly, before attacking the food with the same vigour he had earlier, but this time it wasn't very animalistic in nature.

Hiei trusted that Kurama wasn't going to take away his meal, though he still couldn't finish all of it... He blinked at the other, after they were finished with breakfast. Hiei stood to help Kurama with cleaning off the table, a similar task to what he had been doing not too long ago, chained to a leash that only allowed him to wander so far.... He paused, before he kept up with his task.

A few moments later, they finished the task. Kurama thanked the other for his assistance, though it hadn't been necessary. Still, the manners were a nice change from before. "So I take it that you're feeling better?" the fox asked, refering to the sickness that seemed to have passed.

Hiei nodded, he had felt better now that he wasn't sick. Hiei was still a little afraid of talking to the other so openly, but he knew that he would be able to with time. The other hadn't harmed him yet, nor did the other make fun of his weakness and lack of power right now.

The fox did nothing more than acknowledge what he said with a short "I'm glad." It wasn't so much for a lack of anything more to say, he just wasn't sure what could be said that wouldn't bring back unpleasant memories. He wanted the boy to recover mentally, to have his normal confidence back. Him not having his former power didn't matter. Kurama would take care of him no matter what.

Hiei looked at the plain clothing that had been provided for him, so unlike the kimonos that his captors had forced him to wear, there wasn't any color, no intricate patterns to lose himself in. And the fabric made his skin itch somehow. He looked up at Kurama trying to figure a way to ask him without sounding ungrateful. "I... I don't mean to sound ungrateful but.... But do you have any kimonos I could wear instead of these, it's not that I don't like them, it's just that the cloth is making my skin itch..." He commented, being very quiet.

"I had nothing else in your size. If you don't mind it being too large, I can get one of my tunics for you," the boy said, giving him the best option he could. Human clothes were uncomfortable, of course, but he hadn't much of a choice other than to have him wear those. The kitsune would have to take him shopping, apparently.

Hiei nodded, "I wouldn't mind it being too large. Thanks."

He remained quiet after this, trying to think of something else he could say, or bring up in conversation.... But, sadly, he couldn't think of anything. "Do- do you have school today?" He asked, looking at the other.

He'd remained sitting at the table looking at the other before he realized that if the other had had school, then he would've already left. "I'm sorry, I forgot that you'd had already left if you did." Hiei commented, looking somewhat sheepish.

"I no longer am required to go to school, Hiei," the boy answered, slightly happy that the other had interest in human activities. Normally, anything related to humans would instantly be labeled stupid and that would be the end of it. This Hiei was very pleasant, the fox thought, though he would take some getting used to, which was to be expected. Such a change made him almost an entirely different person, one who was dependent and needed comfort.

"I'll be back shortly, then," Kurama said as he went upstairs to his room. From his closet he chose one of his darker tunics, since he had no black ones, and a white shirt and pants to wear under it. Hopefully Hiei would be pleased with that, since his main goal was to keep him that way. He returned to the kitchen promptly, then gave the clothes to the other.

"Oh." The other commented, before his arms were filled with the cloths that Kurama had brought down to him. "Thanks, um.... Where's the bathroom? I want to get cleaned up a bit too, if you don't mind that is." Hiei stated, unsure as to how the other would want things.

Rather than tell him, the fox simply took him to the bathroom. It was much easier that way for both of them. "I would like for you to treat this as your own home," he said to the other. "It's not necessary to ask for permission for anything, just use your own judgement." Kurama trusted him completely, so he wanted him to know that.
