Tsubasa_girl I tried using a pendulum while on the phone with Liane a couple minutes ago.
It was quite sucessful.
I asked if it would do spirit writing with me but it said no.
I then asked if it would try spirit writing with me if she hung up and it said yes.
So I'm about to try now but one question,
are there any requirements besides pen and paper and an open mind?
Like would I need to dim the room, have everything quiet and etc? Quietness helps. Dim room helps a bit, but it's not necessary. You'll do well, just relax and you'll be fine. ^^

Dark Emery I have been researching up on this and I think I'm going to be much comfortable with spirit writing (automatic writing). I went onto a website and came across a video showing one way to communicate with spirits and then I felt a tingle in my left hand between my pointer and thumb, so I immediately eit out. What did this mean? XD Haha. Someone might have slipped you their own pen or pencil. A spirit pencil. VERY cute. Someone is eager to contact you. You'll do VERY well with it.

Can someone explain to me how contacting spirits using a pendulum works? I want to know before I consider any of the answers I get while using it as valid.
Would the pendulum itself move? Or would it move your hand to make the pendulum swing?
I'm always worried that it's just me moving it..

Ipocrita in the Rising Can someone explain to me how contacting spirits using a pendulum works? I want to know before I consider any of the answers I get while using it as valid. Would the pendulum itself move? Or would it move your hand to make the pendulum swing? I'm always worried that it's just me moving it.. It's the pendulum itself that moves, not your hand. The pendulum is so simple it confuses everyone sometimes. And sometimes it does feel like your hand is moving if that's the case, stop and relax. Then try it again resting your elbow down on a solid surface

I haven't joined this guild yet, but I found this post very interesting. And I have a question... Isn't it really dangerous to do things like "spirit writing" ( I guess that's what you would call it...? ) because you're giving a spirit power over your hand?
