Tobias retrieved the card once more, peering at the number.
"Nine-two-four, three-five-seven-zero."
She looked up at Lorn.
"Mean anything to you?"

"Not really, but perhaps..." Lorn pondered.
"Perhaps?" Tobias asked
"Where's the nearest pay phone?"
"Why... Do you think..."
"It can't hurt. Let me do it. No one's going to know who I am, anyway. Sound reasonable?"

Um, you know, the contents of her bag contained some pretty big hints about her. >_> Like, REALLY OBVIOUS HINTS. Or at least they should be.
Also, villians. We need some. I think we all have our own ideas, so should we collab or just surprise each other?
Dana, still asleep, curled into a ball behind the couch, oblivious to the pair's meddling.

I know, Jess. >_> I 'unno if Wulf does, though.
Tobias bit her tongue. She really, REALLY didn't want him to wander around outside and get nabbed by some supernatural baddie, or worse, by another Wizard. Who knew who was lurking about the area? If Dana knew about the summoning, then others could, too. It was risky. Too risky. Tobias looked to Lorn, and sighed.
"I... don't know."
Lorn frowned, and Tobias responded by running a hand through her hair.
"I super duper don't want someone to nab you. And you're new around here. I mean... why don't you just use my phone?"

CHECK MAH NEW THREADZ HOMIES. Thanks again, V. ROX.
Hmm... Yeah, I can haz teh baddehs, though don't expect me to invent something when Red Court is always available. I hates vampires. scream
NEway, sorry I've been stuck, but I'll try and get something going again.
"Aren't you worried about being traced?" Lorn warned. "Especially by her contacts, whoever or whatever they may be?"
Tobias sighed. Lorn had a point, but she knew they had to try SOMETHING. An itching curiosity had crept up her spine.
"Let 'em come. Not like we're getting anything done just sitting here, going through a stranger's belongings," she decided, eyeing the skillet with significant distrust.
"I'll make the call, at least," Lorn insisted. "Anyone with any conception of where I came from already knows about me."
"Fair enough."
Lorn strode over to Tobias' telephone on its simple stand. It was an ancient model, but still worked by the grace of the gods. He dialed in the number carefully, holding the receiver in one hand and the four-leaf clover between two fingers of the other. He exchanged a glance with Tobias as the ringing began. When whoever or whatever was on the other side picked up, Lorn simply answered "Dana Fairwood."
There was no response, but Tobias noticed the glow before Lorn himself did.
"That's something," she said with a half-smirk, half-grimace. Lorn held up the card and stared at it. The clover was shining green, and the wizard and her guest both quickly glanced at Dana's sleeping form.
It was glowing too, and floating a bit to boot.
"That's different," they commented in unison.

Lolz. I'm finally posting.
As soon as the phone on the other end of Tobias' line quit ringing, the clover's glowing faded, and Dana rested lightly back upon thr ground. The Wizard shook her head, thinking. she looked from the clover to Dana, then to the assortment of items on the ground. Then she looked to the clover. Dana. Items. Clover. Dana. FRYING PAN.
"HOLY ******** jumped slightly as Tobias exclaimed.
"Protection! It's all protection from Fae! Why didn't the giant ******** iron skillet give it away?!"
Lorn looked down to the clover.
"Interesting."

I give up. There's not much I've got to say, but I'll say as much of it as I can.
Tobias and Lorn traded a confused look once more, and glanced over at Dana, who snored for a moment, then was still again.
"How long did you put her out for?" Tobias asked, rather irritated with her "guest" who put other "guests" to sleep without asking.
"Now that you're back, your magical presence SHOULD break down the spell," Lorn replied, shaking his head. "I cannot be certain of the remaining time, due to the unique nature of her constitution."
Tobias crossed her arms over her chest, contemplating the frying pan, and the clover in Lorn's hand.
"So we've got someone trying to take samples of me who's also got..."
The frying pan and the clover were weighed together.
"...Leprechaun problems? I don't get this."
"Leprechauns loosely belong to the Summer Court, but they have much of the same tendencies as most Wyldfae..."
"And you know this how?"
"Past experience."
"Not asking."
"Thank you."
Tobias walked over to Dana and nudged the sleeping woman with her foot.
"Hey you."
*shrugs* Up to Jessi nao. talk2hand
