Sakai could hear the last of the battle as he entered the forest, meaning that the fighters weren't to far from him. Not sure if they were friendly he leapt into the trees and took off in the opposite direction, stopping only when he noticed in the next tree was a large animal. Below it several wolves prowled.
'Why me,' he thought drawing his bow, pulling out an arrow he quickly notched it and let it fly, hitting the first creature in the tree right in the heart. At this the others began to howl and one tried to climb the tree he was in. Sakai nestled himself against the trunk knowing it couldn't reach him, but not wanting to risk falling if he jumped to the next tree. Now that he had stopped so had the momentum that was keeping him going before.

Leaning back against the tree he began thinking of his Sensei and the last exercise he had asked him to do. 'He told me to focus on my strongest emotion all day and then to turn around and use it in battle. It would give me strength and stamina but I would get tired afterwards having used so much energy. It's worth a shot.' Letting all his muscles relax he began to tense them one by one releasing them until he was loose, it was a short way to do a long stretch routine. Closing his eyes he thought of the betrayal he had felt all those years ago when he had discovered it was his own brothers that had his family killed. Focusing on that anger he just let his mind drift back to the day his Sensei had told him what had really happened and that his sister needed him.

Stalking through the trees Sar-ra enjoys the broken daylight, that just makes it thought the canopy. She walks along till she finds a small stream and bends to have a drink. She decides to sit and meditate for a while.

*yawn*Sar-ra's fangs catch the sunlight, and she stretches her arms out. She stands and bends her back.Man, that was great. I need to do that more often. Master would be upset if he knew I wasn't meditating. Oh well.The sun was begining to fade, but Sar-ra didn't want to go insinde, so she transformed and climb up into a tree. After finding an abandoned birds nest, she curls up and watchs the forest floor till she falls asleep.

Waking up with the sun warming her fur Sar-ra streatches and yawns.I better go see if I can find Siori.She hopps downfrom the branch and heads torward the town.
