For the first time since I started this thread there were no winners this week. Although I'm pretty sure that I will get Lamb's first cd next week. I feel like I'm getting in a rut, so I thought that I would change the format of the thread this week. Instead of listing which cd's I should buy, I'm going to leave the list completely up to the people who post on this thread. What is your favorite cd so far this year? Tell me, tell me, because I really want to know. What cd would you recommend? It can be old or new. heart ninja pirate

Okay, we're off to a good start for this weeks pick. So far the suggestions have included Lamb's first cd, LCD Soundsystem, and Mogwai and The Notwists. This is exactly the kind of help that I need. Please keep those suggestions coming.

Polysics!!!!!!! MAN THAT BAND IS CRAY-ZAY! I've been jumping up and down in my basement for the last 3 days! It's like funky dancey crazyness with rockabilly sounding guitar licks! OH YEAH! Absolutely awesome.

Thankyou everyone for your suggestions. This weeks list keeps growing and growing. We now have Lamb's first cd, LCD Soundsystem, Erlend Oye - Unrest, Mogwai and The Notwists, and Polysics. Questions have arisen as to which Polysics and Mogwai cd's to get. (Linen which ones were you listening to?) heart ninja pirate

Mogwai is good. Along similar lines, I'd check out Godspeed You Black Emperor!. Also, if you haven't gotten Architecture in Helsinki - In Case We Die yet, you should. I'm kinda addicted to it right now. 3nodding

And the winner is lcd soundsystem. biggrin Thankyou everyone. I haven't been able to get into our guild for over a week. So I'm just now reading some of your suggestions. I have heard a lot of good things about Architecture in Helsinki, but I don't know if my favorite music store has any of their cd's. I will find out tomorrow. heart ninja pirate

From this weeks suggestions I'm leaning toward Architecture in Helsinki's In Case We Die Yet, Spoon's Gimme Fiction, or Feist's Let It Die. I need you input. Keep those suggestions coming. heart ninja pirate
