Zerodyme Kyupura Legato=god he's so damn kickass, you guys keep going on about how much better the manga is than the anime so, I would kill to get my hands on these godly books right now and lucky for me i have the money to do so at the moment. Order them from your local anime and manga supplier.

why is everyone saying Legato killed Nick D. Wolfwood?
I mean, yes, he WAS killed by Chapel, being telepathically controlled.
But who's to say that wasn't Knives flaunting his powers a bit?
Sorry if I'm wrong, i haven't watched Trigun in about a year...too busy. T-T

Trigun Forever why is everyone saying Legato killed Nick D. Wolfwood? I mean, yes, he WAS killed by Chapel, being telepathically controlled. But who's to say that wasn't Knives flaunting his powers a bit? Sorry if I'm wrong, i haven't watched Trigun in about a year...too busy. T-T I think it was Legato. That's why Chapel wanted to take revenge on Legato. Knives was still in his chamber, and only came out at the same time when Chapel appeared.

First off... Legato freakin rocks okay? He is one of the most loyal people to Knives, and, in my opinion (even though he's animated) he is hot. I like Legato because he is Legato... so there (i realize this isn't a strong argument.)
I don't believe that Legato killed Wolfwood. Everyone knows that Knives can do the same stuff he can. I mean Knives banished Chapel to a diff. dimension. So who's to say, Knives didn't kill him? LEGATO!

Setsamara, as I do agree with the first half of your post , I do not agree with the second half.
Reasons?:
1. I do believe that Legato killed Wolfwood. As you said, Knives DOES have the power to manipulate BUT I have only seen it well done in the manga----pick out a point in the ANIME series in which he MADE people kill themselves or MADE people kill others. As far as I'm concerned, Legato was there with him the whole time when each procedere of manipulation was taking place (except obviously Wolfwood's death or the Episode of "Sin" in the town of manipulated people trying to sway Vash to save them instead 2.--you , in your first post complied that he was one of the most LOYAL persons to Knives. Now, your statement (and if you all know your Trigun and should know) is correct. HOWWWever--that being said, you have just stated that Wolfwood's death could be a simulation of Legato's loyalty to Knives. Knives has never ONCE in the anime series mentioned Wolfwood's name or the need for his demise. LEGATO was the one more concerned with "the preacher in black" (as said in the manga, but i'm being humble to the fact that it says little about it in the actual anime series, never the less, he still holds high regard and loyalty to Knives).
3. If Knives banished Chapel to another dimension--why didn't Wolfwood ever in that time of death become envolped in a black whole like his mentor?
4. No acts of Knives pulling off demostrative killings has been SEEN ever in the anime series that have to do with manipulation.
5. Legato's manipulation abilities ARE his purpose and signature in that entire series. To serve, and to manipulate (with a side of hotness). SO WHY would Knives kill a perfectly loveable preacher man and get his hands dirty when his servant of manipulation can commit the deed for him? It adds credibility to Knives'es name and makes him all the more wicked.
If Knives killed someone---it was face to face.
Leave Legato to the theatrics and dramatic end result.

I dunno. I don't really like Legato. He's creepy in the manga.
I like Knives much better. I want to get into his pants... I mean, mind.
