Okay, I know Athrun and Cagalli are meant to be but the last episode of Gundam Seed Destiny. There was an after episode, that shows the extra stuff and Athrun and Cagalli broke up with each other crying

Yeah, and we're going to watch the Kira fangirls mob the writers again. Whee, there's Kira again, even more emotionless than before! Where did the old Kira from SEED go... he was a good character, well, at least better than the robot we have now.

I forgot about that. See, nothing's all that rememorable to me in Destiny.
Yes, I know Cagalli's the representative...but the girl needs to act like it. Meaning, she shouldn't be taking orders from a bunch of has-beens. If she desires to get out there and fight, then by all means....FIGHT. It didn't stop her when she was on the ArchAngel. Besides, a good leader should be able to fight for their country. Not just sit back and give orders to a bunch of inexperienced soldiers. Let alone give orders that were given to you from inexperieced leaders.
Going back to Akatsuki...the sad thing was that of all the people she could have given it to: why Mwu? For all she knew, he could have been an imposter. Why in the world would she hand over something that should be prized as her father's dying wish to someone that looks and talks like someone that should be dead and yet can't recall ever being that person. Cagalli hasn't even spent long enough time in the same room as him to even acknowledge that he really is Mwu. She should have given it to Athrun if anybody. Even Kisaka!
And I think Cagalli's father giving her that mobile suit damn well meant that she was better off in the battle field than in an office surrounded by people telling her how to do her job.
