Bry didn't question her he felt it rude even though it meant something that Mia most likely did. Bry knew it! He wouldn't push it though. He actually smiled, he was pretty sure he knew what was in the jar. It did have a cover on it to not let light out or in. He could hear the buzzing of the excited or maybe angry light ball.
Mia smiled at Coranna,"Uncover the cloth first with your face near it though." She held it out to her. "I thoguht you might like one since you were able to come in here for so long. I was planning on giving you one to help you out with getting used to the cave but I guess its more of a congratulations present now." The little light ball seemed to start to calm with its buzzing now that it figuredit was about to be let free and see its first human. Buzzing aorund with excitement you could see light flare up under the cloth that was yet to be uncovered.

Mia's vague words didn't help Coranna understand much about what was in the jar. But as she heard the familiar buzzing she clued in. Taking the jar, careful to make sure the cloth would not slip off, she held it close to her face. Cautiously, she removed the cloth, and the ball appeared. Emerging from the jar, in floated in front of her face, causing stray strands of hair to levitate with static. Then with a content chime it swooped up above her head and hovered there gleefully. "Oh! One of these things, thanks, it will defiantly help the trip back. She gave a small laugh, but it came out with nervous tone.

Mia smiled,"I have one too it will do anything you say. along with whatever personality it picks up from you. Its a very simple creature though it only knows small words and understands feelings. It will react to when you get hurt by flaring things like that. If you don't want it you can also dismiss it by telling it to watch it over someone else until you otherwise need it."
Bry saw it chime around. It caught him that this wasn't just a gift though. He would talk to coranna about it later.
Nya stayed away form it her hair already standing up because of her last zapping experience. "Glad to see you again Coranna. Meow you guys just left this morning without wkaing me up!" She seeme dhurt but then piped back up in three seconds. "I can't wait to relax some though after I get all clean." With that she was already at the entrance going down the wrong one. She came back out blushing and re-entering the other entrance.

Coranna raised her hand over her mouth to try and hide her laughter. "You really need to put signs up." She commented, turning to Bry. Although he didn't seem as gleeful as she did. It threw her off quickly, was something wrong? She quickly distracted herself by turning back to Mia, "Oh - Kinda odd, but useful." She smiled up at it, already picturing it zapping annoying humans once it picked up on her personality. "Are you guys going to go use the baths too?" She looked back down at Mia and Bry.

Bry feathered in amusement. "You took so long I was able to wash and dry I had only been waiting for about ten minutes by the time you came out."
Mia smiled,"Nya just didn't know. Yea signs might help, most just know. We will be back out later we might take a while though. I figured Bry would show you around some more and you could get use to your new pet." Ma left at that to take a much needed bath.
Bry paused and waited to make sure she was gone. "Coranna..." He looked at the light ball. He touched Coranna on the hand gently then her side. The light ball would react to her emotions quickly. He wanted to show her that it would that it wa a way to measure her emotions and how they wee spiking.

Coranna's cheeks quickly filled with blush. Her eyes held confusion at embarrassment at the sudden interaction. The ball of light above her head did the same, turning the palest rose colour and wobbling around as if it was confused. Following Bry's gaze, she looked up at the ball of light. The ball first turned a deeper shade of red, for Coranna realized that her embarrassment was obvious, but the wobbling had stopped. Then, as she fully realized why Mia had given her the ball of light, it turned a deep crimson and started to shake uncontrollably. Static filled the air around it, but that did not stop Coranna from swatting at it with anger. "How could she?! Doesn't she get it through that thick skull of hers that I'm not going to freakin' say anything!" She held in a screech, knowing that it would only alert the others of her fury. She put her arms up over her head, trying to hold in the anger that was telling her to march back into the bath houses and maul Mia with her talons. She trusted her again, and she thwarted her. Could she not trust her in the most mundane things? Apparently so. Her feathers stood on end.

Bry frowned and stood away from her. "Its okay really they don't go outside the caves come on a fly will do you good."
Mia was taking a bath in the bathing houses, didn't really give the gift because she knew it gave off emotions. She actually meant it as a gift to make Coranna feel more welcome in the rebellion.

Coranna's voice was now much more calm, though small tremors of fury still vibrated through it, "Yeah, that's a good idea." She removed her arms from in front of her head, but she kept her head bent down, ashamed of her uncontrolled angry. The ball of light above her head returned to it's normal shade, and the static in the air lessened, but was still above average. She let herself fall backwards, off of the ledge, spreading her wings as she fell and gliding back upward as she caught air beneath her wings. Flying was like a medicine for Tengu, they needed a daily dose for them to keep a level head. Atleast that was the case for her.

Bry smiled at the excuse to fly but he also knew that he had Coranna. Mia could do what she wanted but in every way it would lok like she was digging a bigger hole for herself as Bry explained things the wy he wanted Coranna to see them. He did however like Nya one of the few exceptions were nekos and to think tha of all the people he liked i would be the cat people. It seemed funny to him so he chuckled out loud. "At least I will know when your in a better mood then." He said flying beside her.
Mia got out of the bathing house a bit later with Nya all clean as well. She smiled she was happy to feel human again. She would have to report in but she would wat until she took Coranna o one of the market days. Where ahd she gone anyways? Another helpul se for the balls. "Go find Coranna please." She said nicely and the little light ball would track her light down to lead it to where Mia wanted to meet her. Which was in a place that they could eat a nice meal.

The pleasant chime of the orb mingled with her own laughter. "You'll probably never have to worry if I'm in a bad mood or not, although the humans around me might have to." She smirked at her little joke, but then realized it might have been a bit too hurtful. Her eyes shifted over to Bry, judging his reaction.

He smiled,"They can be nice though, rarely. They think a lot like us if you put your mind to it. Maybe thats why i can't get along with Mia. She thinks to alike. What wil be helpful to her in the long run. your friendship being able to judge your emotions. Its something I would do to her" He shrugged,"Don't you think? Maybe we can't get along because only we can fly and they cannot other then that our mind sets are pretty much the same." He frowned,"I know I used them for a home and food and survival. They use me for finding water and doing odd jobs only I could reach. But at least its mutual kinda like a friendship. How about you and Mia?"

It's true, both humans and Tengu were humanoids, so their minds must be relatively the same. Coranna agreed with it, but somewhat wished she couldn't. "Same sort of deal I guess, she helps me and I help her, we use each other to survive. But lately, she's been asking for way too much, and I can't give her what she's asking for. But that doesn't stop her it seems." She eyed the ball above her head, it was still now. "If you can call it a friendship, then it's crumbling, I'm finding myself not able to trust her anymore."

Bry nodded,"It gets tat way with her sometimes. She is my best aquaintance though. I know her well enough to know she would never let a friend of hers die no mater how mean they have been to her." Bry smiled,"You can trust me when ever you feel like it. But Mia.... she wants everyhing to be instant. She doesn't have patience. She will howver almost get you killed trying to get you somehing she thinks might please you." He paused. "When I first came here I didn't fit in. I still don't sometimes. My old clan kicked me out as you know. She went abck and confronted them for me to get them to take me back because sh saw how unhappy I was. I would stay where no one could reach me for weeks. She is very presisant though and continued to tlak to me on her visits. When she went to them they attacked her and she manage to hide. They came back to finish me off though. Mia was able to come back with enough time for warning. If you ever look close enough some of the hair on her tail is missing from the attack. It scarred over pretty bad we thoguht she might lose the whole tip of her tail when we first saw it." Bry sighed,"I try not to like her sometimes she can be unpredicatble but if you made friends with her crumbling or not she will do anthing she can for you. She will let you leave if you don't feel comfortable, she will not be sad if you deny her gift and tell it to leave. Thats just how Mia is." He glided a moment,"However she is not patient and if you have something she wants she is oign to take the quickest path to it. She can be very cunning as her kind usually is."

The story quickly changed her mindset about Mia, maybe she was better than she had thought. She seemed foolish, but it was all to please someone or another. She eyed the ball above her head again, not sure whether to take it as a gift or a cunning plan. Bry's last sentence left her with worry, though. "I never thought of Mia being so foolish in order to please someone. It is pretty touching though... She confuses me, honestly. I don't know when or when not to trust her; or if she's doing something to be nice or it's just a part of her plan." She sighed, "I've never been in a situation like this before, I've never gotten this close to people before. It's all new to me, and I don't know how to react."

Bry did a flip in the air adn turned to face her,"You worked in the empire you said. I don't care which job but I'm sure you knew about politics. Mia is a strong person to have on your side. Her cunning ways gets her high here. Even now when she has only this place to live since she was stupid enough to try and save some rebels, she has a high standing. Most likely she will be taking a rather dangerous job that she'll be asking you to go along with. You just watch she wants you comfortable here. For the most part though in the face of danger and not somewhere safe like this, you can put your full trust in her."
