Toby is stopped halfway though the lunge as his squirtle leaps into his arms. "Shellshock!" Holding the pokemon close to him Toby does his best to protect the squirtle from the sand. "I'm so glad you're ok.." "Squir..." Comes the faint response as the pokemon was now exhausted from struggling. Looking around Toby can see the two team rocket pokemon being recalled. Turning his head to the left he can see the faint outlines of his friends. "Harvey! It's ok, I got Shellshock back!"
As the sandstorm fades Toby can see Carmen in the distance, sprinting towards the forest's edge with a trail of dust following her. Standing up he starts brushing the sand off himself and his squirtle. Drillclaw scampers over to the trainer and looks up at the squirtle to see if he's alright. Spotting him Toby smiles. "Hey Shellshock, Drillclaw here helped get you back, you should thank him." "Squirtle squir..." The blue pokemon shifts slightly in order to hold his hand in a thumbs up position to the sandshrew.

Harvey breathes a sigh of relief, the sandstorm coming to a slow but steady end. He looks at Dawn and smiles. "Y'alright? Sandstorm's always been one of Larvitar's specialties, and that was his best one yet." He grins, laughing. "Larvitar! C'mere, buddy! Y'did great!" Larvitar's eyes fade back to their original colour, and he breathes a deep sigh as well. He looks over to Harvey, smiling and waving. "Lar larr!"

When the storm stops, Dawn is relieved and smiles at Toby, returning with his Squirtle and Drillclaw. She looks up at Harvey and lets go of his arm. "Ya thanks" She laughs lightly. Shamus and her look at eachother, smiling, then they look back over at Toby.
"Wow a Sandshrew eh!? Nice..."
She crouches down to get a better look. "Hey there little guy... What'd you name him??"
Shamus looks at Shellshock and smiles, happy he's back. "Char!"
Looking over at the Sandshrew, he decides to hold out his hand and greet him. "Charmander, Char."
"Oh, You guys will never believe it!!! Shamus learned Flamethrower against that Espeon! It was perfect!" She looks at him full of pride.
"I knew you could do it!"
