As Asmoday walked she thought. About the past, present, and future. Still with no answers, she thought a good fly would help clear her mind, so off she went to fly high above the town and look at the poor souls below her. That always made her feel better.

Rendaal looked around and saw blue skies. "Ry is a very peaceful town. Damnit!" He frowned, "No one to save, nor no one to serve justice to." He shook his head and still strolled about the streets looking diligent [[@Lord Illu ... Smoldyface: Cause I do what I want. It's my body, you don't own me, you don't own me! ><"]]

"What I just said, head to the library, Anur." He said, beginning to walk toward the library. He hoped that what he had found there would truly be helpful, but he felt a fear that it may not be so...

Previous Debrah sighed as she followed Eldrich. Libraries were boorish places full of books written by boorish mortals with only a minimal understanding of what they were even writing about. She would much rather go to Pasiphae and explore for herself or, even more desirable than the first option, track the vampires down and slaughter them all. Debrah didn't fear vampires or whatever demonic force might be gifting them with its power. Just mortals who so badly wished for power, the power not to die, or the power to kill. Just weaklings searching for power they could never have on their own... A shadow passed over Debrah, and she looked up to see Asmoday's distant form. She shook her head and sighed. The kid was dumb, flaunting her power like that, but Debrah couldn't help but envy her. How badly she wanted to let her wings out...

Asmoday flew over head of Debrah. She Debrah look at her so she flew higher and twords the woods. When she finally landed in the woods, she found a nice shady area to sit and just listen to all that around her and plan her next move.

When they arrived at the library, Eldrich immidiately walked to a certain row and found a book. He came back to the group and presented a large book with several markers in it. He placed it on a table and opened it to one of the markers. "This is the book I was talking about, it tells of different magical artifacts. Some of these may, however, be more fiction, myth, and legend than fact, but it's worth a shot... This first item I'm sure isn't truly real, but again, it's worth a shot. It's a pennant that supposedly will make vampires stand in awe of the powers it possesses. It's location is in the land of Terra."

It was at that moment that a man, about six feet tall, garbed in all black with a black cloak that shined dully, with white hair that went down to the bottom of his shoulder blades, walked into the building. He had a black handeled sword strapped to the left side of his waist with a black diamond inlaid on either side of the top of the handle. The sheath and blade was slightly curved up with a single sharp edge. The blade itsself was also the same black that seemed darker than midnight. The man's face was as hard as stone and gave off not even a mear hint of what the man was thinking or feeling. A warm wind seemed to accompany him occasionally and a few shadows seemed to streach towards him as he passed them, walking completely silently. Any light that was around the man as he walked seemed to dim and then reapear as he passed. Finally, the man stopped behind the group of people and made still not a single noise, however, the area around the group would seem to grow darker.

Previous Debrah's blood red lips parted in a smile as the man grew near. She touched the hilt of her sword lightly. It was so very thirsty... But she shook the thought off, turning her head to look at the new being in their midst, feigning indifference. Eldrich's voice snapped her back to reality, and she gazed down at the book he indicated with a fair amount of disinterest. "It's called the Pendant of Caloris, and it is very real," she said. "But it's hard to say if it's just another pretty stone that the humans so badly wanted to believe had magical properties, or if it is a valid magic stone. A few powerful men owned it at different points in history, so it wouldn't be too surprising if, over time, myths started to gather around it. Again, it's hard to say if any of the myths are valid...the stone vanished about seventy-five years ago."

"It is not a weapon, more a tool of intimidation to ward off vampires." He looks up as it gets darker, and he sees Jet 'Who is this that possesses the power to cause light to retreat?' He thought. Eldrich makes no mention otherwise. He looks to Debrah "Ah, I see. No use going all the way to Terra on such a loose theory. There should be many more useful ones in here." He turns to the next marker, this page has a golden glove pictured on it. "This is supposedly a holy gauntlet that is the bane of any evil, if it where to come in contact with anything evil, it will purify it. And to vampires and demons, that means death."

After what seemed like hours later, Asmoday got up and headed back to the town square where she first arrived. Walking slowly she started to sing a song. It was the lullaby that her mother sang to her before she died. Asmoday hadn't tought about her mother in years, so why was she now?
