Super Panda I busted my back trying to pull 360s. It still hasn't healed. I don't have my own car because I can't afford anything decient. In South Africa car prices have been syndicated in such a manner that it brings up the prices of the used car market. That and I have been trying to save for a trip to the US perhaps mid next year. To put it into perspective a Nissan S13 would cost you about R40 000 - R60 000 about $5 000 - $8 500 That's a mid range-to-somewhat expensive used car in America, but then again it is an S13. Someone who worked at the horseback riding camp I went to drove their ATV(or 4-wheeler or quadbike) into a tree and twisted their back.

Shitty Panda, that sucks.
-Well, I drove the truck up and down my driveway, and found my Transfer Case and Front Hubs are prolly shot, along with one of the front U-joints.-
U-joint: It sounds like a cheap-a** brand of Smoking papers. xd

Alright, have a fuel filter, rad and heater hoses, and also found 5 (Count 'em, FIVE) Vacuume leaks, all which will be fixed shortly.
The Carb needs a rebuild kit, but the small metal tag with the serial numbers has been ripped off and the Choke is gone. GONE. I need that too. It leaks gasoline from a diaphram or gasket with a hole in it, and as said before, the choke is disabled.
The Manual hubs (Oh my gosh there still around? gonk ) are shot, one (Driver side) missing a few parts and having a broken stud. The other (Passenger) having two stripped and siezed studs won't allow me to open it to see the inside.
I need to find out why the front driveshaft wobbles, Probably U-joints are shot. in the mean time, I'll be pulling it out. Also, It seems that the transfer case will not let go of the front driveshaft, keeping a full time 4WD. This may just be because the truck sat for so long, and something needs to loosen up. (Like my female Friend. stare )
Finally, I spilt Power steering fluid on the drivers seat. I hope I can get it out and not have to buy another driver-side seat, because the two have different frames.
So anyway, I will be going in to get my N soon enough, and new tires at the same time. Insurance will be expensive, about $1300 Can.

I would just buy a new carb rather than rebuilding the old one.

New Carb: $135.
Carb rebuild kit: $30-40 depending on if I can find the numbers.
New-old carb: (From a guy who bought it and never used it) About $80-100. IF I can get ahold of him.

New carb is bought, will be in to the parts shop about tomorrow or wednesday.
Hubs will come in a week or two, when I can get the old ones out. (Any hints? It's just a stock Hub for a Dana 44 TTB Ford. gonk I think I missed a C-clip.)
The Seat still has Power Steering fluid in it. It's almost all out, But smells funny.
Need new tires.
Need new engine.
Need to fix a few more holes in the floor. I can see daylight under the door. :Gonk:
SO I'm sticking to my bike for a while. Believe it or not, My Mountain Bike is worth more than my Truck even to this point. gonk gonk

Carb is in. Front driveshaft is out (due to transfer case problems) and hubs are preventing me from driving the truck on a regular ******** Ford POshit. Too much work.

the hubs are an absolute b***h....been there done that 3 times(worked at firestone) give yourself a couple hours per side...if things work like they are supposed to.

Hey, once you get the cap, spring, gear and C-clip out, what else do you have to remove before the ******** slide out?
I can't see anything more, and they're not coming out as planned. I don't need a slide hammer or anything do I?

When you get down too it, the 240SX is just another japanese economy coupe. The only thing special about it is that stupid kids are willing to spend their parents money on it cause they think it's fast.

I don't need a slide hammer or anything do I? you will need a pen magnet and a medium sized flat tip screwdriver. there is a nut that is in around the axel sorta that spins off and you cant see it unless you look very closely. i will see if i can find you pictures cause its trickey. you have to loosen it with the screwdriver and spin it off with the magnet...kinda like moveing the magnet around the axel in a circle once you loosen it depending on how stuck it is on there.
