Yuki walked back towards Akumu and heard him ask if his secretary had anything useful to say.
"Not really. He did say Hello to you though." she said with disinterest. Though I do wonder what this 'present' for me could it be... could it be a new lead to 'him?' thought Yuki to herself, barely noticing Akumu's hand touching her back. She glared at him once again, for the same reason.
"Didn't I just tell you about that, Akumu?" she said to him with an aggitated tone.

Tomar and the ghost wandered around bouncing complaints of boredom off each other. "There's nothing to do..."
"Hey, look at the poor kid... I think he's lost..." The ghost pointed out and Tomar's gaze whipped over to the boy. A gleam flashed through his eyes and a smirk rose on his face.
"I have an idea! We could save the world and all in need!" Tomar happily exclaimed as he jumped up and down. The ghost grew an excited look.
"Yeah! We could be the... the... the Dynamic Duo!"
"Yeah! I can be... bat-cat!"
"And I can... be... uh... Angelic Bird-boy!" The two nodded and then ran over to the lost boy. He took a few steps back.
"Never fear! Bat-cat and Angelic Bird-Boy are here to save you and return you to your mother!" Tomar heroically shouted. He grabbed the boy's wrist and began to walk while Angelic Bird-Boy watched with twinkles of respect in his eyes. Tomar was telling the kid all of his heroic stories, which never actually happened. The kid was of course totally freaked out so he kept looking around.
"Mommy!!" He yelled and pulled away from Tomar. Neither Tomar nor Angelic Bird-Boy looked back. They just got into heroic stances.
"Once again, the day is saved by... Bat-Cat and Angelic Bird-Boy, the Dynamic Duo!" Tomar pronounced before spotting a toystore. "Hey! Let's go there," his heroic voice had gone to his normal, cat-boi wanna-be voice. Bird-boy nodded and they entered.

Akumu gave a slight laugh as he removed his hand from Yuki's back. " I vaugely remember you saying something about not touching you, but its fun to see that annoyed expression." Akumu shrugged and put his hands in his pockets. Not that annoyed is much different from your normal cold expressionless look. He thought to himself.
Akumu lead the way down the street in silence. They passed a few food places and he spared a glance into eachone in case Tomar had stopped for a bite to eat. He didn't bother to look into stores 'casue he figured Tomar couldn't afford more than your basic needs. Though, as time passed, the fact that he was walking with a decent looking woman at his side and not saying anything began to but him. "Do you want to stop and get something to eat or drink? My treat." Akumu offered for lack of a better subject.

Yuki raised an eyebrow at Akumu's comment, and then sighed silently. She shook her head, and then began to carry on walking.
Yuki scanned the areas and crowds that they passed by. Hoping to catch a glimpse of the wanna be cat boy. But nothing.Feh. It feels like we're not looking in the right place. she thought to herself. It seemed like they were getting no where fast. It felt like she was working on a case with no clues, or leads. Just starting off blind. Well at least this time I don't have that pathetic partner of mine. I honestly don't know why they paired me with someone like him. He's an eyesore, and doesn't even do anything... Complete opposite of my old partner... she thought as she looked down at the ground. A glimpse of sadness sparked through her eyes as she thought of the past. She quickly shook her head. No I won't think about that. Right now I'm working on somethiog else. she to herself in her head.
She looked over at Akumu who was being awfully quiet... for a person with his personality, she didn't mind of coarse. But it was something that could be worth worrying about. She was about to open her mouth to say some sarcastic remark, when Akumu looked her way and asked her if she wanted to get something to eat. She blinked and then looked at the road.
"Aren't we supposed to be looking for that cat boy Tomar right now?" she answered to him with a neutral tone.

Akumu shrugged and sighed. "Yes, we are looking for Tomar, but here I am walking with a pretty woman and not holding a conversation. It's beggining to bug me. So, you want refreshments?" He asked with a pretty boy smile.
Wiether or not the actually ate something didn't really matter to Akumu, he was just looking for something to talk about. Conversation keep peoples minds active, and allowed one to learn a great deal about a person. Yuki kept to herself, and Akumu was determined to crack the woman's shell. He wouldn't ever come out and directly say anything to her about herself, but the more one knows about someon, the more they can get said person to do. Besides, Akumu allways got a kick out of making people reveal their true selves. It was what made him a good busnessman. Given an hour or so, he could pick out total scum bags from sincere people. It was a fun game.

Yuki's eye lightly twitched as she turned to face Akumu.
"Why must you continue to call me pretty? I really dislike it. And the way you said that... it almost seems like, if I weren't a pretty woman, you could care less about a conversation between us." she said with a rather large amount of annoyance in her voice. Feh. Men. I've almost given up hope on them. Actually more like people in general. After that time... Yuki thought to herself as she closed her eyes.
"If you wish to insist on getting a bite to eat. I'll consent to it. And humour you. But I doubt anything will interesting pop in a conversation between myself and you." she said rather harshly.

((Ah! Been too lazy to get on... _-_))
The two wandered around for awhile but nothing interesting caught their attention, though Tomar did take his time to hiss and scratch at the water guns. Though, as they neared the last part, Tomar gave a yelp of happiness and cradled a box in his arms. "What's that?" Angelic bird-boy questioned Tomar.
Tomar showed his companion the box. "They're electronical cat ears that change with your mood!" Tomar happily exclaimed. "They're even water proof!"
"D'you think they actually work?" Tomar shrugged in response to his companion's question.
"I'm gettin' them anyway!" And that he did. After buying them and putting them on, they left the store.
"What should we do now?"
"We should go take pictures of Ichi!"
"Who?" Tomar's new ears flopped a little.
"You don't know who Ichi is?" Tomar pointed in the direction of Ichi's school. "Follow me!" And so they headed off towards the school.

Akumu sighed and rolled his eyes. "Yuki, if you would be a bit more sociable and a bit more trusting, half of your problems might get solved. I don't see what's wrong with calling you pretty. It's the truth. Don't be so afraid of other humans. Give them half a chance and they might surprise you." He said to try getting Yuki to open up. It was rather inconvienent when an employee wouldn't talk to him about much. "I will admit, that if you weren't pretty I wouldn't be trying so hard to get you to talk. I like pretty things. The world just doesn't have enough pretty things in it" Akumu said with a slightly dramatic sigh. "I'll ask again, do you want something to eat, or would you rather just continue looking for the cat? I'll respect either answer."

((Ah I apologize for my absense. My online life was put on hold a for quite some time because of things in my real life. Starting college... extra hours at work, and many things above others. I apologize for my absense. But I am back on gaia and would like to get this rp started again. o.o Um if its ok with you Yamino?))

I don't mind, but I think I'm going to end up redoing it. At the moment I don't have much time to rp, so I need to come up with something that's a little more self-runable. Also, the guild has been kinda dead due to people's real lives kicking in, so I would like to get some more guild participation before starting it up again.
