Okay, guys, if you check out the Members page, Hiryu has passed the torch and there's a new Captain.
Me.
God I know it's scary. I'm one scary-a** person. But I really had high hopes for this guild and I really want it to keep going (I love you, Van) with mostly the same plot that Hiryu had intended, and he and I agreed that I could lead this guild better than he has so far after I requested the change. Don't get me wrong, I love Hiryu bunches and he's a great guy, and he is still the founder of this guild and he had the great idea that was the premise, as well as invited a bunch of you guys to join. But it was time for a change. Hiryu is not leaving the guild or quitting, he's merely stepping down a notch in management.
I'm going to be doing some cleaning, removing some old inactive members and whatnot. I'd kinda like a show of hands right now of everyone that really does actually want to continue here, because I really really want this guild to succeed and to have the plot move on, but I need people who are committed, at least to some degree. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that you have to post every single stinkin' day, but at least check back as often as you can, reply to posts as soon as you can, get involved, that kinda stuff.
I think I'm going to start a new "ideas" thread so we can throw around stuff and get the plot laid down and really get this thing moving. BotC has been around for... what, a year or so? I have no idea, but quite a while, and as Ark stated earlier, we've only gotten through about two in-RP days. This is probably because there is no direction; no one has any idea what's supposed to happen, just that we started off in Kaito, and so in Kaito we shall stay until someone tells us otherwise. Tomorrow I will make a post of what the general direction of the RP is going to be, and from there I want you guys to suggest stuff as to where it should go from there.
Love you all, and although I seem rather bitchy sometimes (I'm bitter about a few things.), I'll try and do my best as the new Guild Captain.

I'm suprized this wasn't discussed a bit before ownership was changed.
Why don't we just start here and when the thread is made we can move then.
A map is good. A basic one would be nice, doesn't need to be fluffy as long as we get it done and fast. We can spruce it up later.

Arkane. Dude. I'm a minor, remember? Restrain yourself. sweatdrop OKAY. Yeah, I was thinking that would probably be a pretty good idea, since no one has any idea where anyone comes from right now. We have countries, but they're just kinda floating around, so I'll get to drawing up a basic worldmap sometime soon here. ILU2 VED.

Map should be comprised of everyone telling everyone else where everything is... Like I know where I want Divin and Argrus to be on the map... Very top left, snowy, cold, awesome good times.

And I agree, that sounds like a good idea, since I've got the same kind of preferences. I'mna make the Ideas thread right now, so if everyone who has a country and a preference as to where it should go/what cities are in it/how big it is/whatever could say so, I'll start working on a big ol' map.

And if he has been delete I'll just add Loki again.
OH and Zyxa, I'll get on his a** about making a post. He's joining, just probably busy.

Vanair YEah we should try it. We should also put some NON-Magical rp's in here too. Like maybe a detective mystery without superhuman abilities, or a Pirate rp.... god I love Pirates. So that we can have members who dabble in one or two rp's but not necessarily all. I was thinking about this and thought of all of the things that the guild has done in the past... I think that an rp like this (No magic, unicorns, dragons, yadda yadda yadda) would be a good idea. Don't think I'm crazy, but I'm thinking something like... not medieval or anything that really involves swords and stuff like that... What about adding in an rp that's sorta like... cowboy bebop? The guild has never done any kind of futuristic stuff before and anything that even resembled something like that was over shadowed by mythical beings. I think that an rp that's more driven by mystery, action, and some sci-fi futuristic stuff would be a good change of pace. Plussssss; I'm think that one of Van's idea wouldn't e to bad either. Something with pirates or anything like that would give me a chance to rp as a Samurai... I have yet to rp as a samurai yet and want to ever so much... Maybe an _____ era/period samurai rp would be good as well. P.S. By no means do I mean this in order to abandon the main BotC rp, but I think that something else would help us to keep active and interested in coming back to the guild every day or two.

Guys, I can hardly get anyone to even stay on the main roleplay, the one that this guild is named after, how can I expect anyone to be able to handle multiple roleplays at the same time? Sorry to mislead anyone, but this wasn't really made to be a general-roleplaying guild, it's made for the BotC RP. I'm all for other RPs branching out from that one, but I don't think a bunch of different random RPs all going at the same time is a good idea. I'm not saying to completely disregard the idea, becuase if I'm the only one that feels this way, then shoot, I'll be happy to allow it if everyone and their dog wants more than that. But that's not really the purpose of the guild, and I don't think it's a good idea.
