I like that idea actualy. (aside from how Riley looks like he's a bit too young to have a 10 year old son.) Perhaps he's using Make-up to conceal his old-ness? -shot- Hmmmm. If he actually appeared in the anime, that might replace BabyDaimondShipping in my mind.

storm guardian ▫▪▫ I personally think his dad died.
Went out on an adventure, got hurt somehow, ended up dieing, ect. ▫▪▫ That would be very depressing, and I think that the author wouldn't want it to be that straightforward. Maybe the writer doesn't even know who his dad is. ^^

I think that he'll just end up apearing in some series, it wil be like in starwars.
You know Darkvader with his "Luke I am your father" crap.
Yeah Ash is probably gonna meet him and he'll probably be some gym leader or bad guy somewhere and everyone will be like OMG!
Or the dude could be long gone...

I think it'd be kind of cool if it was Giovanni, but Riley seems a little bit more likely since Ash was shown to be able to use the aura in LatMoM just like Riley and Sir Aaron. That, and the fact that Riley and Ash look somewhat similar to one another.

Ash's dad is either the Rapidash or the guy. I'm going with the Rapidash. Also, why is Ash dressed like Misty?

More important question isn't so much as who his father is, The ultimate question that everyone should be arguing/pondering is why Hasn't he aged neutral The only person I think who ages slower then him is Jimmy Kudo from Case closed.
I mean he's traveled through Kanto, Orange islands, Johto ect. all in the process of, what, 1 year? Seeing as I've only seen 1 christmas special But yeah >.>

Ash will occasionally mention time passing (The Pikachu Special for movie 3 celebrates Ash and Pikachu's anniversary of being friends)
