Sei hesitated for a few more seconds, listening carefully but hearing no sounds of someone coming after him. So he parted the bushes carefully and, when he was sure no one was looking, he calmly stepped out from his hiding place. He looked around slowly, then started walking in the direction he thought Mel had gone in, but he wasn't sure since he'd been focused upon getting away. However, he soon caught sight of her, then abruptly froze. She was... kissing someone. Someone in a fox mask just like his own. He quickly made his way over, hands clenching, then quickly relaxing again before anyone could notice. "...Mel?" he frowned, wrapping his arms around her from behind and tugging her against himself. His eyes remained locked upon whoever the other male was, almost a glare but not quite.
Eddie barely kept himself from grabbing Mel back, and instead tried to look surprised. He had been watching the two for a while, but he didn't want them to know that. Slowly, he slid off his mask, revealing his face. He leaned forward slightly, staring in well faked shock at Sei. "...Sei?" he said uncertainly, then reached out and ripped off the mask from Sei's head. He blinked a few times, then took a step backwards, as if startled. "Y-you.. But how? It's good to see you again!" This was all an act. All of it. Well, he was kind of glad to see Sei, and he was happy that Mel had kissed him. But, he was pretending to be shocked, acting like he hadn't been spying on the two for the past few... days.

[Don't tell Sei but Mel kinda likes Eddie >.>;;;; BUT SHE LOVES SEI DDD:]
Mel's lips broke away from the guy, her head flipping around as she heard what sounded like Sei's voice. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was in fact Sei...then who was this?! Her face immdately reddened in surprise, and she was slightly glad when she felt Sei's arms around her, not knowing who in the world she just kissed. "Ah-ha" she said giving a laugh utterly full of nerves as she quickly bowed her head. "I'm so sorry sir!" she said her voice almost in a squeek as she almost collapsed from her embarrasment. She looked up though again when he said Sei's name and then took off his mask. Her eyes immdately flashed over to his bright orange hair, looking a little amazed to see such a color. She quickly glanced back away though, not wanting Sei to be suspicious. She lightly broke away from him and bowed to both of them as she rubbed the back of her head. "Ah! I'm so sorry Sei! and...you" she said laughing slightly to try and calm down but her blush wouldn't fade. "What's your name? How do you know Sei?" she asked and went back over to Sei, nuzzling slight into him to show that she was sorry. The thing that was really in her mind though was...her lips knew those weren't Sei's...why couldn't she have pulled away faster?!

[Sei will be absolutely crushed]
Sei stared back at the male, and he really was honestly shocked. "...Eddie?" he gasped. "Wh.. what are you doing here?"
Eddie grinned, trying to look happy even though Mel was snuggling into Sei. He still felt bad, worse than bad, for what he'd done to Sei. It was even worse that he was attracted to a girl who was obviously his girlfriend. But, he couldn't help himself. Why did Sei always get all the girls?! But he calmed himself, not letting even a hint of anger or jealously show through as he simply smiled. "I was just passing through," he grinned, and then glanced towards Mel. "It's ok," he assured her with a laugh. "It was an honest mistake." Though I did sort of set it up... "I'm Eddie. Nice to meet ya."
Sei stared at him for a moment, and then suddenly grinned back. Yeah, it was just an accident. Pure coincidence. "He went to school with me," Sei explained. "We were on the basketball team together." But suddenly, his smile faded as he realized something. "But that was... a long time ago." Eddie looked exactly the same as Sei remembered. "Eddie...?"
Eddie just blinked and then gave a light laugh. "Well you see, I, uh... died, shortly after you did. I was hit by a car." He grinned awkwardly, rubbing at the back of his head.

[I know D: I don't think I could ever handle hurting Sei that much ;o;]
Mel blinked as she heard that the boy's name was Eddie, and made a mental note, she always had terriable dealings with remebering names. "Nice to meet you to Eddie, I'm Mel" she said smiling soflty to him before looking back up to Sei when he spoke. Wow they were old friends like that? That sounded like fun! She was slightly jealous though as if she wanted to know Sei back then, and would have gotten to be with him...though she hadn't been born yet...and she would have died. But hey, she would stay postive, she was with Sei right now, and he was alive again. She looked over to Eddie when she heard his response and her eyes widened. "You did? I'm sorry! That's terriable, Sei died too- though I'm sure you know that. But we brought him back to life..." she said slightly as she grinned up at him and was slightly happy again. Then suddenly she looked up at Sei then Eddie "Hey how about we all go the dance? Its at the mansion nearby and I think It could be kind of fun" she said as she tugged on shirt in a kiddish way to make him agree.

"It's nice to meet you, Mel," Eddie grinned down at her, then glanced uncertainly to Sei, then quickly to the ground before his expression could be see. He was trying to steal the girl away from his best friend, who he'd always been secretly jealous of and had even had a hand in killing. But.. that was such a bad way to word it. He shrugged the thoughts off with ease, somehow, and refocused upon the current conversation. "Back to life..?" Eddie echoed, faking a curious tone. He knew about that, yeah, but he wasn't entirely sure how it'd happened. But that's all he said on the matter before moving on. "A dance?" he blinked.
Sei also looked lightly surprised, and then groaned playfully. "I gotta dress up...?" But he easily gave in when Mel tugged on his shirt, chuckling as he ruffled her hair. "Alright, let's all head over there," he agreed. "That ok with you, Eddie?" he asked happily. He made a mental note to see if maybe Akane would try reviving Eddie. That is, if she didn't hate him as much as he thought she did...
Eddie felt another guilty tug inside him, but still managed to smile back. "Sure, sounds like fun," he agreed, his mind already planning out all the things a ghost could do at a party. Too bad Sei could see ghosts. Otherwise he'd be able to mess with Mel without his knowledge and maybe- No. No, that was horrible to even think. Yet, he couldn't help himself. He shifted lightly, then started walking. "Ready?" He was sort of unable to change clothing, which they were probably going to have to do. "I'll meet you there?"
[am I doing ok as Eddie? ._.]
