"I'm alright" he said between clenched teeth. he could tell it wasnt bad but it did sting. he placed a hand to the back of his neck and held it tight.

"Be carefull there is glass everywhere" he cautioned taking a step and hearing the glass crunch beneath his feet.

"Thanks" he said taking the hanerchief and pressing it to his cut.
"Its not deep...I have had worse" he said smiling...through the dark he looked past were the broken light was and saw before them two huge wooden double doors.

"Wow" he said "WIll you take a look at that..I think we are at the end of the line" he finnaly said.

d**k took her hand and gripped it tight..his heart racing...had they reached it???..was this it?

"Lets open the doors together then" he finnaly said wraping his fingers around the metal handles of the great door.

"And no matter what we find...we find together...and take it to our graves if we must!"

d**k nodded his head and looked at Keira...he then quickly planted a big kiss on her cheek not even blushing...he wanted to kiss her just incase this was the last time.

He then looked back toward the door and started to pull...it slowly creaked open.

The wide double doors opend easier than d**k would have expected...he held his breath...expecting another trap or explosion or smomthing...but there was nothing....the door held a odd void....not just of silence...but a void of darkness....there wasnt even a smell of dust or anything....the room felt void of physical senses.

d**k looked at Keira...wondering if they should step into the strangness that the room held.

d**k gulped down a lump in his throat...knowing that they had come this far...that there was no turning back now.

"well here it goes"

d**k stepped into the eerie room Keira at his side. the room felt like it had swallowed him the door slamed close behind them and he suddenly felt an empty force pulling him forward like a magnent...he tried to let out a cry to Keira but no words came out...the void swallowed them. he felt Keira slipping from his grasp..he desperatly held on but he could feel her being pulled in the opposite direction.....dont let go dont let go!! his mind screamed to her.....he had the gut wrenching feeling that if he let go of her..she would be lost forever...he would be lost....there was a sensation of no up or down...the floor seemed to disapear under his feet.

Dicks head was spinning losing the sense of time and space....the invisible force pulling him started growing stronger...he tried to cry out again with his voice but it was useless...swallowed by darkness...panic taking him in...seconds turned into hours in his mind...all he had that he knew was real was Keira...and his hand was starting to ache with the pull.

then the sicking feeling of being trapped took hold....they had to find a way to get out....but since there was no up or down...just a constant feeling of nothing...it started making Dicks mind feel mad...growing with intensity ever second that passed.

Keira I'm losing you! he screamed out with his mind....not even knowing if it was reaching her.

d**k felt tears buring in his eyes....he was only holding on to her fingertips and his arm throbbed with pain.

I'm trying...I'm trying his heart feeling like it was about to be ripped in half if he let go of her...and feeling the pain of the loss....his fingers were burning....then like lighting his fingers snapped and he lost her to the void....what was worse was he was watching in in slow motion....her falling slipping away from him.....he couldnt tell if he was being sucked away from her...or if she was being pulled away from him....but in that moemnt all d**k knew was that he wanted to die.
