hello my fellows!
what is on high?
i am new to this guild.
I am called Murasaki. It means purple in Japanese. I'm quite bored at the present time, and I am fain to commit seppuku.
i love Tolkien's work. Pure genius. I also loved the Sillmarillion. I like to speak with Tolkien fans who have read the books rather than only seen the movies.
LegolasLady- you have become extremely cool suddenly. You have Elvish bows. I want to learn the way of the bow. Desperatly.
aside from Tolkien, i enjoy competitive jump rope, Martial arts, Foreign languages (french, japanese, ASL. . i want to learn some form of elvish), writing poetry and fiction, all sorts of music, and i enjoy reading works by Robert Jordan and E.A. Poe.

Hello fellow inhabitants of Middle Earth and beyond the North Shore...or something. sweatdrop I'm 14 and have been reading Tolkien for quite a while now. My favorites are LotR (of course) and the Simarillion. I have seen all the movies, and *hopefully* will get RotK EE DVD for christmas from "Santa." I have a few posters, bought the 2005 mini trilogy day calendar for myself, and I wish I had more memorabilia, but I desperately need a job so I can get more money (not another 5hr a day volunteer job either eek ).
PS: HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPIPPIN NEW YEAR!

YAY! I got RotK for Christmas too! WHEE!!! I love LotR, I (now) have all three movies, I've read (and own) the Silmarillion, and FotR, Two Towers, and RotK. I have read the hobbit, but I don't own it. ( crying Nooooo!!!) 'Neways...I think that's about it. ^_^

Hi everyone. I just joined this guild and thought this would be the best place to put my first post.
My name's Alycia. You can call me that or by my username, i don't care.
I absolutly love lotr and its true that i didnt have much interest in tolkien until i saw the movies, but i've since read the books and the hobbit. I want to read the simarillion soon as well. So far my favorite is the hobbit.
Besides being a tolkien fan, I love to read and write. I write both fanfiction and original stuff, but i like to focus more on my original pieces because i hope to make a career out of it.
Anyways, there's not much more to say about me. I guess i'll see you all around...

Hi There!
I just got accepted to the Guild, and thought this would be a good place to make my first post.
I love Tolkien, its been an ongoing relationship for the past 5 years or so. I am 17, a senior in high school, and have many other interests, check my profile for a few of them. Anyone who would like to be my friend, just PM me, I will try to check my mail everyday or so.

This truly is a great guild,thank you for accepting me.
I'm 15 years old and love the movies and the books. I have been "involved" with Lort since I was 6 when I seen The Hobbit (cartoon version) thanks to my dad. We own all the books and movie (extended versions),Frodo's sword Sting(replica),and other such Lort things.Well that's enough for now.^^

HI!
I just joined this guild, and I am so excited! whee I've finally found a Guild where I can totally fit in! I've loved LotR for years, and I think it's awesome that Gaia has its very own Guild dedicated to J.R.R. Tolkien himself!

I'm a highschool student eek who loves to read and write stories, and also does the occasional drawing. Those who know me well know me to be shy, strange, friendly, and a big LotR fan. xd

Hey im one of those crazy people who when attached just dont dissapear lol... yep thats me just call me Guardian-x a 17 year old Male who above all else loves war... thats how i got here and became a member... I started watching the movies and loved every minute of every action sequence... the race that i like the most would be the human side for they are the strongest the weakest, the smartest and the stupidst lol so that is like me lol

I only just joined, I'm chuffed to see there's a healthy Tolkien community here biggrin I'm completely and utterly mad about anything that Tolkien's written, and I've read just about everything I can find with his name on it, LOL!
I love both the books and the films - the films are a wonderful tribute to the books, and so much care and detail was put into them that it's mindblowing.

Well, I am Kamui/Chris/P-Nut/Way Too Many Nicknames. I've been into Lord of the Rings for about... six years now? Yeah, that seems about right. I've read just about every book (some even twice whee ). I'm in other guilds (Grammar Nazi domokun ) and am part of many other places within Gaia.
About myself personally? I am an E-4 within the Army and am stationed in Fort Campbell, KY. I have been in the Army since October '02 and have been deployed to Iraq once. I go back to Iraq this coming up June/July, so if I disappear during a couple of weeks at that time, that's because I'm busy setting up our TACLAN so that I can get back on the Internet. XD
More about me? I'm an over-enthusiastic pervert. I tend to flirt on the Internet a bit much, but it is all good hearted and should not be taken seriously because I do have a girlfriend. Just think of me as being really nice. XD
Uh... what else? I'm not a huge fan of the movies. *puts up riot shield and gets his beat stick* I also hate Peter Jackson with a passion. *whips out the pepper spray and tazer* >.>
I am currently re-reading Lord of the Rings and have just read the part where Sam looks into Galadriel's Mirror. Mmm... Galadriel. *drool*
Oh yeah, more stuff about me (isn't this exciting?). I do have a RP that is on the backburner due to a friend quitting Lord of the Rings RolePlay due to it being infested with people making every character yaoi and being complete n00bs, thus I have been forced to also quit. I do not do yaoi (gay, for the uneducated XD) at all. It angers me to see a completely heterosexual character so easily transformed into a homosexual character at a person's whim, but that's what RP is for: to change a character to what the person likes. Whatever. But yes, I tend to play evil characters (always XD) and I thoroughly enjoy winning. I'm good at what I do. I've been roleplaying for nine years and don't plan on stopping, but back to my original line of thought. I have this roleplay and I'm writing up the summary (not really, but I plan on doing it soon) to display for all to see. It's basically Morgoth has returned, thus the end of the world. Blah blah blah. I don't want to ruin too much.
Yeah, I'll shut up now. XD

Hello! My name is Arbrethil-I live at BSU and I am a huge Tolkien fan. I have read all of his works, and I've been roleplaying for around 3 years. Anyway, I hate Mary-Sues almost more than anything on the face of the planet! So-I enjoy reading, and learning, and playing on my Apple Laptop-by the way-did I mention I'm in High School? Nevermind that small unimportant fact. PM I need friends!
