In The Bleak Midwinter is based on this song and is a Giri/Doku and a Yoru/Taran with a very, very slight bit of Shi/Ara.

This takes place after the fight between Yoru and Sero.

The Wild Hunt appeared in last years Christmas special, if you would remember, and for further clarification, yes Shi rides at it's head, but it's not the normal boy that carries the big ole giant book, it's the cold-hearted demon that hunts on Yule night.

Oh, there's a story behind that, but you'll have to wait on it.

As for the baby, Arashi got sent to the mortal realm for much the same reason. Things don't grow (her adult appearance to the contrary) in the Land of Dead.

Pretty much anything post-fight is gonna be o_o

over half. Many die pre-If It Be Your Will. And of those that somehow make it through that, only a handful make it past the events leading and directly after Yoru and Sero's fight.

Amazingly, Chi and Kano (and their daughter Karura and ward Mamoru) live.
That's another story, and will deal with the Free Tribes and Mamoru and Karura taking back of the desert much later.

Lee dies in the invasion of Konoha, which I haven't decided when it takes place, only that it's last due to the how great a victory that would be in Sero's eyes.

Kankuro and Karin die between the two stories, and Kiyomi and Kiyoshi stop working (already read the short story on that). As of right now, Taran's sisters are not repaired.

Haru and Sora die at the end of Waiting for the Miracle, and I'm not saying exactly how yet. (I'm hoping that I go back to writing it at some point, since it is close to it's ending already).

Gaara dies in a trade dispute, much the same way as he died in my short story, Requiem, and Mira dies shortly thereafter in a very Hinduesque way while burning his body.

Temari amazingly also lives. The last we see of her is her going to Taki after Gaara's and Mira's death, and Haru and Sin both die and Phoenix is resealed a year or so prior to that, and more on that later. (In the background of all of this, I have mentioned that the gods have left. That's why Hoshi, Chain, and Yuri go off. And THAT ties in to another story as well. Actually, that ties into the retaking of the desert and Free Tribes, but it's complicated).

Yuko, Choujurro, and most of Kiri die during that invasion. And directly after, Karasu, Shinsetsu, Kokoro, and Sayuri die. The Land of Water is the first full country to completely be conquered by Sero. (Even though Suna was the first Hidden Village to fall, he didn't complete the country just yet, though he does finish the job later, barring the forbidden wasteland where one of Kaze's old labs is)

Ryuuichi dies during the invasion of Konoha, Fuyuko dies of illness a few years prior, and Katami dies when the gods start disappearing (again, tie in to a pretty complicated plot thingie I have in mind)

Sachiko also lives, and along with the surviving members of the Seven Swords Demons is part of the resistance.

There are probably some people that I've forgotten o_o

Personally I always figured Karasu to die from an illness due to his bad habits. xd
