After a fruitless night of searching for the two runaways, the high priest exhales with extreme displeasure and decides to make camp until tomorrow to search again.

The following morning, STP awakens and looks at Jackqueline to see if her status has improved. He gently taps her on the shoulder and says "Jackie, are you awake?"

Jackqueline wakes to slight soreness and replies, "Uh...yeah."
The high priest gathers the soldiers before dawn and sets out to search once again.

Jackie wakes a little more and finds that she feels a lot better, in fact most of her wounds seemed to heal over night. "Yeah, I think so." she replies a bit bewildered.
The villagers had found the dead Linkx quite a while ago and had become terrified of the people that could have been powerful enough to fight against it and win. The high priest knew that there was nothing to fear, however it would just be a matter of time before he would find those trouble makers.

STP extends a hand and says "OK, let's go then. And I apologize for being so brusque with you. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me."

With that, STP looked around to establish a sense of direction, then took off running further away from the village.

Jackqueline follows close behind.
The high priest was fed-up with chasing after the runaways, he needed to send something else after them but what...? Suddenly he had it, if the beast was not able to kill them maybe beauty would. He conjured up help from the dark spirits of zibalba to bring forth trouble to our heros.

They soon enter into a clearing where a small waterfall cascades water down some rocks into a still blue pool.
Upon seeing this, STP said "Ooh, look at this."

STP looks at her and meekly says, "You know, we're quite a mess from having fought that monster...I know I've still got plenty of dried blood on me. What do you say we take a dip in this pool to clean up?"
(Yes, I'm implying they both disrobe, but don't take it the wrong way. It could be an opportunity to split them up and one of them be lured by that evil beauty you mention.)

Jackie looked down at all the blood dries onto her skin, it made her subtly cringe. "Yeah...I guess we should, um, how about I take that side by behind the large rock and you take the other side?" She points to the stone standing tall in the water creating a kind of wall.

"Sounds good. It'd allow us to wash these clothes as well."
STP stepped forward into his designated side of the pool, with outfit on, and spent a few minutes washing out the outfit.

Jackie wades into her area and starts washing, however something is giving her the creeps, this water though crystal clear. Give her the feeling that there's something in the water.
