Earana woke to find herself sprawled on a cold stone floor. A mist seemed to be lifted from her eyes, and she saw that she was dressed in rags and her weapons were nowhere to be found. She tried to rise, but a blow of vertigo threw her back, staring at the long shadows cast by the formidable bars of iron before her.
She sighed, and wondered what they had done with her dress, the sole heirloom she had inherited from her mother.

Kirra, (((A Rohirrim Human, not to be mistaken for an elf for my avy has nothing to do with my rp character))) sat on a tree stump sharpening the blade of her sword with a rock in front of the flickering camp fire. Her fellow soldiers talked loudly amongst the camp area which they were staying there for the night before heading on-ward in their march to aid the Amanians. A desprate message of help had been sent and Rohan responded quickly sending out troops to aid the help needed. Word was there was a terrible evil spreading in the land.

When she dared to open her eyes, it was nearly sunset. She sat straight up, or as near straight as she could, and scanned her eyes about the strangely colored valley before her.
'Drat it all! I've slept too long,' she thought with a hiss.
Raksha climbed out from under the den and found that there was little wind at all, cool or warm. She sniffed and strained her ears for any noise, but none came.

That morning, the Rohhirim troops rode on in their journey to Aman. In te distance, Kirra saw as she marched on the side of the line, was a young man. Kirra could see that the captian had also obviously noticed this man standing on the road side. She follows the army and surrounds the man. She listens as teh captian questions the stranger, with her sword out along with the others.
"Who are you?" the Rohirrim Captain asked. "and what purpose do you have here in the middle of an empty range?"

He moved closer in the bundle that was the girl. He bent down over her and studied her. He lifted her chin with his hand and made her look into his eyes. Her eyes were so striking and she was actually quite beautiful, for an elf. But in the end that's all she was, a spineless worm of an elf. He gave her a charming smile. If he could get her to turn to his cause, she'd be a great asset. Now to only figure out how to use her.

She looked into his eyes, they were so deep she felt that she could get lost in them. She blinked slowly, then returned his smile with an unsure one. She could tell that he was studying her, but for what purpose? She didn't know what to do, she felt weak and confused.

Kyrra listens to the guy talk, and waited for her captain to answer.
"I see, you were called for help?" a small grin streaked across his mouth, "here?" he laughed out loud, "her, in the middle of now where, son?"
some of the soldiers began chuckling, Kyrra sat on her horse, un-amuse but suspicious.
"ha, these days you can find battle and fights just about everywhere you look, these lands are never safe, always war around us. Mournings for losted ones are greater." he sighed, now with a serious face. "Why? why do we "threaten" you? we are Rohirrim soldiers and we protect our borders. We can never be too safe thats for sure, its not very common to find much travelers, such as you, in romote areas with a dark power arising. but, you need not be disgruntled, off with you. Go and answer that "call for help" of yours." the soldeirs around grinned. "im pretty sure its very important," then with that, the Head Captain raised a hand to back the coldiers and led them back on their trail.
Kirra lingered a bit, while the others left
"fool..." one of the soldiers snickered about the strange boy. "what an idiot..." they grinned.
"Mama's boy" a guy said over teh crowd, the others stopped and stared at him wondering what his insult had to do with anything, but laughed since its an insult anyways.
"hey, don't leave just yet, they're just immature for their age" Kyrra said. "anyways, i was wondering about what you said, about a call for help, could you tell me more about it?"

As the elf peered through the trees he saw one of the elves still fighting the cloaked figures. But where are the other two...He did not wonder for long but pulled out his dagger from its sheath. He took careful aim and threw it at one of the figures, hitting it in the back. It fell to the ground, dead. Now he ran into the open to attack the cloaked figures. He came upon one by surprise and stabbed him in the back. He killed another when it ran at him by dropping to the ground and and slashing upwards. Just then an arrow sped at him and pierced his left hand. He struggled against the pain while his hand bled profusely.
Now that He had only one arm to use he put down his falcion((see profile)) and drew his sword which shined brightly in contrast to the dark figures. He deflected a slash from beside him but it missed his neck by a hair's breadth. He used that moment to cut off his opponents sword arm, but when he tasted blood running down his cheek he realized it didn't miss him but had grazed his cheek. His opponent fell on the ground beside him, crying out in pain. He stabbed his adversary twice before looking up. When he saw the troll walking towards him he wasn't so sure he would survive this fight. ((I'm getting kinda tired overusing the term "cloaked figure", also I just used a big vocabulary because to me it started to sound boring))
