I'm all on board. I picked up another full time colorist position.. but she hasn't even given me all the lineart I need to work on stuff yet... *shrugs* and, my shop will probably not be ready for a little while yet. apparnetly the girl doing the main pet needs longer than the only "3-5days" she promised.. rolleyes However, I guess I'll wait. I really was hoping my own shop would pick up the pace. Got one set of lineart. the next comes monday.

I forwarded a picture of the elder, and some older other stage options to Andi, but I guess I could post them here. They're pretty big, but don't stretch the page for me. If they do for anyone here, I'll resize, but I know it's easier to color big stuff. (and to ink it, which they need) Elder  Other possible stages:

Ok.. well i can't ink. I'm not good with anything having to do with the lines themselves. I am just have some skill in coloring them in. I tried to do that freehand thing with the pen in PSP.. but, i dunno. maybe i wasn't using it right, but i was having a hard time with it till i got too frustrated.

domokun i can draw anything on the comptuer, the mouse is so much harder to use than a good ol' pencile domokun

Oh, don't worry about inkin' 'em, I've got that covered.
I just haven't really been un-sick enough to do it.
Requires focus I just don't have right now. xd
And the freehand tool....
Leaves much to be desired.
I've come to the conclusion that once you figure out how to work it, the point to point pen option is much better.
Smoother lines.
And you can make straight lines too, not just curves.
As to if we'll sell other things/species later....
I'm not sure.

O wow
I love this idea ^^ a guild started shop.. its like a failure proof plan.. i mean if one of us many colorists gets bord one day and draws new line art BAM you got anoter breed in the shop! lol.. IM SO up for it
though with my Irl in a hell hole it would be hard for me to do some things.. BUT I ish can draw line art ^w^ and or help color .. do costoms and or breedings from time to time xd

and ze best part is i can pick up new tricks from ze wonderfull colorists here..

domokun how about while the shop mule is working on getting the shop all set up the colorist can color and what not that way we might both be done at the same time. Are we going to have all teh stages colored before we sell one or color them as they grow?? How long does it take for them to grow?? domokun
