Virgil looked at her, "I'm not sure what the mage would do in this situation darlin...but i'd be more then happy to oblige." With that he rose and made his way to the door passing Sane, giving her a look.....one that he rarely used: Disgust.
Seth turned to look at the alchemist, but with his failed sight he pulled in nothing, "There are no Awakened healers....what are you going to do then?"
He turned from her but she reached out a hand and laid it on his elbow, "I....I know alchemy." she offered it up in hopes he wouldn't down play the ancient art, " I can heal with it...its Divine Alchemy...."He raised his brow at this, "No one has done that since...." Suddenly recognition rushed across his features, "Derek....you're....you're derek's daughter........."
Fear. Cold hard fear ran through her. She looked at him and was overwhelmingly thankful for the fact that he couldnt see her, "I...No....I...." she was stammering, and took a few steps back, looking around frantically for the best escape route.
He smiled at her, "Its a pleasure to make your aquaintance Hunter...I'd like to talk to you more...but right now, its time to clean up my brother's mess....If you would excuse me...." he made his way to the living room and came back with Aislin, Nayana and Black in tow.

Kalintria nodded as Virgil followed her order. She sighed heavily as soon as he turned and was a few paces away. She ket herself sitting upright with her hands on the arms of the chair. She looked curiously at her legs, and began poking them with interest.
Sasuke let everyone but Seth pass by him.
Hunter watched Simon as he left the room. She was still staring in his direction when he came back in the room, and she quickly diverted her eyes to look outside the window.
As soon as Simon came back from the other room, Sasuke stepped completely our of the way for him, The Eye, and Nayana... and Black.

Virgil stopped dead as he saw the forms moving towards the door. He smiled and looked over at Seth with a smile, "You're not going to like this at all lad..."
Seth ignored him, more interested in the conversation with the young alchemist, "But....Divine Alchemy....there has only been a few who can use it...and Derek was the last one, you're telling me you can use it....You'd be the right age." He took a step towards where she last was, trying to gage the distance between them.
"No...you're mistaken...." she continued to back away, if she could make it to the circle of chairs she could use that to vault up onto the gazebo roof.....
She put a gentle hand on Sauske's arm, "Pardon me...." she said sweetly, her white robes dusting the floor, and her long auburn hair catching the dying sunlight, making it look almost a more vibrant red.
Following behind her was Nayana, who had an odd expression on her face, humor mostly, but due to the very nature of her, it came out as a dark line.
Simon had taken the opportunity to speak to Hunter again, "Sorry about all of this....my younger brother is prone to being a bit more agressive then most..." he chuckled and grabbed a glass of wine.

Kalintria looked up as Aislin and Nayana emerged from the house. She stopped investigating her legs, and watched for the slick expression Nayana would more than likely wear when she found out what had happened to her. She rolled her eyes at the thought, and sighed.
Sasuke stepped back into the kitchen with a glare on his face as he stared at Seth still out on the deck.
"It's okay... um... I see how he is. It made for a very interesting day." She turned to look outside at Kalintria, and mumbled under her breath, "And to think I wanted to stand out behind the SUV while all this happened."

"Most of the time I wish I could stand behind things and miss all that my brother has done....." he laughed and took another drink then grabbed piece of apple, "It is rather entertaining though....."
Aislin walked into the garden and took in the seen. The injured elf was in a chair, the southern gent was making his way over to her, Seth was approaching a terrified looking girl with glasses...."Seth, are you just out to traumatize all of our female guests?" She asked calmly as she made her way down to where Kalintria sat. Her reveleled eye full of understanding and love, very much the way the Virgin Mother was portrayed before....
Nayana was far less kind, "So you mangaged to anger our hosts son, blind him, and now you're hoping one or the other of us can save you from it all?" she asked looking at her old friend, "when did you start acting like Shill?"
"No...this is Derek's daughter.....Derek Powwell" He turned his face towards where his mother was.
Aislin took in the informaition cooly, she looked again at Sane who seemed about ready to sprint, faint or throw up from fear. She shook her head, "My son, i believe you are greatly mistaken......."
"He is ma'am....I...I don't even know my parents...." She pleaded.
Aislin gave her an all knowing smile then looked down at Kalintria, "Well....we'll take care of one injury at a time, legs and eyes and heart....." she added the last word under her breath and kneeled infront of Kalintria, "What happened exactly?"

Hunter snapped her head back to Simon, a tinted red to her cheeks. She didn't know she had spoken it that loudly. She looked down at the table, and began fiddling with a grape. She was at a loss for words. "Oh... uh... yeah." She shook her head at how dumb she sounded. Where was her wit and humor? Her sarcasm? She looked up at Simon from the corner of her eye as she popped the grape in her mouth. Her heart began to flutter, sending chills down her back.
The elf was still agitated by Seth and then Sane. She ran her hand across her forehead and through her hair, breathing deep of the sweet warm air circling around her. It felt odd though, because it seemed as if everything had lost its magic quality. She could no longer feel the flowers and air as if they were speaking to her. She shook her head as Aislin addressed her. She looked at the woman knelt before her. "It was a simple sparring match. It seems we both have skills the other did not expect."

Still tthe smile was on her face, "People often learn that when they fight against Seth...I'm sorry to say that I am unable to heal you, but you will have the use of your legs back in due time....."
"In otherwords suck it up and let the adults get back to talking...." She shook her head, "I can't believe you lost a fight to the whelp......."
"Do you understand what I just said to you? DEREK POWWELL'S DAUGHTER!" Seth walked over to where Kalintria sat and Aislin was talking softly to her,.
"Boy, i believe you're mother has chosen to ignore you for a reason.....I suggest you shut it before I do something worse then blind you."
Seth was furious, "You can't threaten me this is my mother's house! And this is important..."
Sane continued to creep closer to her chosen escape route, hpping no one noticed....She saw black and made eye contact with him, taking note of his nod of understanding, apparently he wasn't too pleased to be here either.
"I...Listen i know this is rather forward but..." he sighed and shook his head, his long hair hanging in his eyes partially obscuring his face, "You're really quite...how do i put this....You're beatiful...." he said blushing at his own words...He'd never been very interested in girls....most people thought he was queer and that was fine with him. It didn't matter either way but now....this beautiful girl was infront of him and he was beside himself.

"I did not lose." Kalintria emphasized the last word particularly. "I will heal. He will not. I consider that a win in my book." She smirked at Seth's blind eyes, knowing full well he could not see her, but heard her very well. She also noticed Sane looking ready to bolt the scene, but did not make it obvious to anyone else.
Hunter looked up into Simon's eyes. She blinked not knowing what to say. This was completely unfamiliar territory. The only long interactions with guys that she had had were with Sasuke and her brother, Hawk. Their conversations never ran along the lines of her being beautiful. She could feel her eyes drying up, and immediately knew that the roots of her hair would be turning white, then orange, then red if she couldn't calm herself. "I-I... I'm sorry." She began taking slow deep breaths. "I... um... I mean thank you." She looked over at Sasuke to see if he had been listening, which he wasn't. Apparently his guard had switched gears. "I'm not used to compliments." She looked shyly at her hands, not sure what to do with them.

"Oh I'll heal...You heard her....She can heal me..." He reached out to where sane was supposed to be but clawed only at the air.
She had finally made it to the group of chairs and looked only briefly at Aislin before taking a deep breath and jumping up onto the wooden seat, grabbing hold of one of the decorative wooden pieces of the gazebo and pulling herself upwards. She scrambled across the roof, not even saying good bye and jumped from it to the Eye's cottage's roof, "MANIC! LET'S GO!" She said running towards the front of the house.
Black had follwed her movements with his eyes, and darted through the house following the patter of Sane's feet on the roof, as he passed Simon he accidently pushed him into Hunter, bringing the pair into rather close quarters.
Simon used the wall to push himself away from the girl, "I...I'm sorry..." he blushed.
Aislin had a feeling the girl was going to run, and she was going to be certain that her son was taken care of, but that girl wasn't going to be the answer. The news she'd been given about her lineage was interesting indeed. The name Derek Powwell did mean a lot in many ways....but pursuit of the girl would do nothing at this point.
"Looks like you lost your healer....." Nayana said as she watched the girl dart over the roof.
Seth cursed under his breath, "Damn it!"
"Also looks like you're going to remain blind unless you heal Kalintria..."
"So i suggest you do it." Virgil's voice was hard as stone as he looked to Seth.
The Eye shook her head, "I have to agree with them my son." her eyes turned to the boy with sympathy he couldn't see.
"No. I won't do anything to help her, and that block on her crown will remain. Fine, you don't want to help me? I will stay blind." He stalked towards the door to the kitchen yet again.
Letting out a sigh only a mother could release she gestured to Sauske to move aside.

Kalintria could not help the smirk that crossed her face, and she began laughing out loud. She tried to do so very eloquently, but something about the childish fit Seth was throwing just tickled her so. She reached out to touch Aislin's arm. "Do not worry. I will heal his sight when I have my spells back. There are many ways in which the chakras can be healed. I am sure this world must have some other tricks. If not, Nayana I am sure can find me a way back to another plane to heal." She looked up at her old friend, still holding a smile of triumph on her face.
Sasuke stepped out of the doorway. He turned to watch Black run through the house. He noticed as Black pushed Simon into Hunter that they had been talking. He took in the sight of Hunter with the roots of her hair turning a bright red.
Hunter was pushed back against the wall with both palms on each side of her, holding herself up. "It's ok." She blushed too, and felt a sudden surge of emotion flood her body.
Right then, Sasuke had taken two steps, effectively crossing over to Hunter. He grabbed her by the arm, and spun her to face him, grabbing her wrists as they came up in defense. He looked into her sudden blood red eyes, and then over at Simon. "What did you do to her?"
Sasuke had surprised her, but once she realized it was him, she became agitated and started pushing him away. "Sasuke, stop it. He didn't do anything. We were just talking."
"Talking, huh? Then why is your hair turning red? What were you talking about?" He tightened his grip on her wrists, but didn't look at her when he spoke. He glared straight at Simon.
Sasuke's tone and her sudden rush of emotion heightened her anger. Flames jumped from her hands, causing Sasuke to drop them and take a step back.

Simon watched as the flames errupted, he'd seen this before, many times the Awakened would be under so much druess during the Marking process, anxiety running through them as they stood in line.... He took a step back but remained calm, "Hunter....please. Its quite alright, you've a loyal big brother here is all. Please relax...." he looked at her with a gentle smile, looking much like his mother, "If you like sir...I could read her thoughts to find the most calming thought there....it works well during Marking..." he asked Sauske without looking at him.
As soon as Seth came into the room he felt the flames, "s**t." he said backing up quickly towards the door again, "Mother? We've got fire!" he said and stood at the door.
Aislin looked up at the sound of her son's voice tinged with genuine fear. His blindness was forcing humility, and that was honestly fine with her, but at the same time she wasn't about to loose her home. She looked up to Nayana.
"Fine....I'll check on it...." Nayana gathered her robes and headed towards the house taking in the scene. She understood it immediately the flames h were from the girl's talent, the same way Manic's was. At that point, she stopped caring and picked up a piece of fruit, sitting back to watch the show, there was nothing she could do about fire like that without killing the girl in the process.
She called out the door, "Its just one of your elementals....No reason for concern, your son is here..."
"The awakened girl...." she looked to Kalintria, "Could you stop her if you were healed?"
As soon as the kids had run off he thought his charge was in trouble and darted into the house. He looked around and couldn't find Aislin but saw flames coming from the Kitchen and headed in that direction, cursing that he'd been distracted so long. "AISLIN!" He called out looking into the room. As soon as he saw the calm look upon Simon's face and the bored expression of the Mage, he knew at least The Eye was safe, but there was still the problem of the burning girl....he grabbed the fire estinguisher from under the sink, "Do none of you idiots ever think of this?" and pulled the pin.

Sasuke's face had gone from anger at Simon, to care for Hunter. He was sure he knew Hunter best in this type of situation, after all Hawk had put him in charge of his sister for good reason. But Hunter wasn't mad at something else, she was mad at him. He knew that looking into his eyes right now would not be the way to stop her. He sighed before looking to Simon. "Yes, do it. Find out what will calm her down. Do it fast."
Hunter's vision had blurred as soon as her hands lit up with fire. All she could hear was her own heart beat pounding in her head. It made her dizzy and sick. She could feel the cold sweat building on her arms and forehead, and the dry burning in her eyes. It was an uncomfortable combination mixed with the intense fire that was now burning up her arms. It didn't burn her skin, but she could still feel its heat and emotions running into her skin and through her muscles as they were born from within her.
Kalintria blinked a few times at the woman, considering what she had known of the girl's powers. "Yes, yes I believe I could. I have a multitude of spells that would calm and diffuse this type of situation."

He looked to Simon and shook his head, "The hell is a Reader going to do?" At held the canister up.
"Inder....please don't....." he looked to Hunter, "Hey....its okay, okay? Take a deep breath with me. I know how tough powers can be when you have no control over them....Trust me, when the war first happened it was an onslaught of memories and emotions...." he offered up a smile to her, "Its going to be okay though, can you walk? We can get you outside if you like....i know that always helped me clear my head." He gestured towards the door.
"You're going to let the burning girl walk through your kitchen....Well thats...intelligent."
Aislin stood looking at her son. "Seth, you will mend the damage you have done with this woman. Now. That is an order." Her face was suddenly stern all the God pressence seemed to accentuate her words, as if they were orders directly from some divine entity.
Seth glared in her general direction then nodded, "Yes ma'am." he replied defeated; and headed over to where he'd last seen the miserable elf and her human companion. He wasn't really sure where they were, but came with in a few feet of where he was supposed to be, "I can't see what I'm doing so...someone want to help me with this?"
Nayana had kept her eyes watching both encoutners and decided to reply to the boy, "Take a pace and a half forward and put your right hand straight out from your waist." she called out then looked at the interior of the room again, getting a lot of entertainment out of the confusion of all the people around her. This idea she had was becoming more and more plausible by the moment.

Hunter strained to hear through the pounding in her head until the slurred humming became actual words. She could tell it was Simon speaking to her and her heart jumped out of embarrassment making the heat worse. She blinked through her haze. "I-I cannot see to walk." She began taking deep breaths as Simon had told her to.
Sasuke noticed the jump in the flames, but then watched as they started to recede. "That's it Hunter, you can control it. Breathe deep. We'll get you some water and air."
Kalintria rolled her eyes at Seth's attitude and reached out to help guide his hand. "I am right here."

He sneered a little at the contact, but as soon as he felt her, he was able to plan out the moves. "Give me your legs then." he said turning his blind eyes towards her.
Aislin watched her son carefully to make sure nothing went awry, and with her son incharge of actions it was possible, even with a direct order from his commanding officer.
Virgil stood near kalintria, resting his hand on her shoulder. He had given up on breaking through the boy's defensive mental barrier's. It seemed pointless and the action was giving him a headache. Instead he focused on Kalintria, and her needs.
"Its alright....just follow my voice. We'll get you outside. Its turning into a beautiful night, the stars are already touching the sky." he lied. He'd not even looked at the sky since she'd been around, but based on how dark it was getting, he was sure he was right.
Nayana rolled her eyes at the sheer stupidity of the boy still caught up in trying to hit on the girl in the middle of this fiasco. At least he was persistant.
