Shauna leans closer to Tay. "But what if he doesnt turn back before we get back? And also, Im not really one to make someone do something against thier will. We should just ask Myles if he wants to have that kind of experiance."

"I'll just ask him to change. And if he doesn't, we wait. But look at this place. do you think we could make him do anything he really didn't want to do? We'll just surprise him. Come on, it'll be fun. Like a slumber party. whee "

"Well, ok. But what about him?" She points to Kyro. "If he hears that us girls are having a party, he's going to want to join. What do we do?"

Myles turns his glance to the dome window, where the trunk's-eye-view shows the inside of the school. The scene comes to a halt in front of the Rec Room.
Myles puts a metal sphere into his pocket, the bangle automatically tailoring the pocket to fit it. And then he walks over to the couches. "Kyro. Kyro, we're back at the school. The rec room is right across from the door, you mentioned wanting to go there." And then he pulls the lever by the door. A second later, the door swings down, becoming steps.

Kyro slowly wakes up and yawns. "Huh? Oh that. I just said that as an excuse to get out of the forest faster. But I guess since Im here, I might as well check it out." He walks to the door. "Does anyone wannt to come with me?" He looks around at everyone.

"Aw man, I was hoping I could get one of you to come with me incase I get into trouble. Oh well. I guess I'll just deal with it." He said smiling. "Well, I hope to see you soon. Im sure we'll be in some of the same classes. Bye." He turns around and walks out of the chest and goes into the game room.

"I guess the next stop is the girls' dorms then." He leans out the door and says quietly to the trunk, "no rush."
Myles raises the lever and closes the door. "So, you wanted to see what's been occupying my time..." He takes the metal sphere out of his pocket. It's about the size of a tennis ball and has a seam along the middle. He gives the two halves a little twist along the seam, which moves them apart a little. Then he reaches out and squeezes the halves back towards each other with a click. The ball remains hanging in midair.
"So what are your favorite movies or books?"

"It does more to movies than play them. Watch."
He reaches out to the ball and it seems to form a shimmering spherical curtain. Where the ball is, a futuristic holographic interface appears.
"Fortunately, Princess Bride was one of the sets that I'd already uploaded as a test."
He touches his finger to the floating controls, navigating menus.
"Scenes... Characters... Objects... Bingo."
And suddenly, floating in the air next to him is what is quite clearly the sword of Inigo Montoya. He reaches out, takes it by the hilt, and examines the blade.
"It's called the Filterable Reality Extrapolation Engine. FREE. What it does is it takes a set of parameters and finds a universe that matches those parameters. So, enter in a book as a parameter set, and it looks through the infinite universes to find that world. As a safety, by default it creates a temporary copy of the relevant parts of that world. So I'm not actually holding a sword owned by Inigo Montoya in another universe, just a simulation. If I wanted to take this sword out of the bubble, I'd have to give it actual material to make a sword with. Steel, probably some carbon and trace amounts of other impurities, et cetera. But it doesn't just make things. I can turn the bubble into a portal into the simulacrum. You could walk through the Pit of Despair and see the Machine. Or see the Palace, or Buttercup's farm, or whatever. But again, if you wanted to punch through into the actual alternate universe, it'd take a huge amount of energy."
