Liek smiled at Clifford with a dazed grin. "A drink? That would be nice, I think. My hunger has arisen and I hath not feedin' in quite a while. I must say I think that starvation's gone out of style. So my dear Cliffy, a drink would be mighty spiffy." Her eyes took a kinda of tired look, the look of a vampire who had not had a decent meal in a while. She tipped her top hat down, holding it gently with her fingers as she bowed her head for a moment, still as a statue in a very unbalanced position. At least it would be to that of a human. It was how she 'covered her shame' though what shame never showed on her face, and many thought it was just her being herself.

Calli smiled at Georg and watched as the human left the vampires. She frowned, though, when about a block away, she saw her approached by another one. Calli spoke asently to Georg, "I would like to meet your friends, but I'm afraid there's something I must attend to first. Excuse me." With that, she took off towards the pair, her hands stuffed in her jacket pockets.

Adrien whimpered softly to himself, trying to be as invisable as possible to these people that stood before him. The transaction of words was...quite something to his ear; he caught snippets of things he sometimes understood. He knew she had spoken about him once, and of his avenging of his dead parents. Since she seemed to be a trustworthy enough companion, and the other...well, he seemd very similar to the lady, he decided to tell them as he followed them both into the haven.

"My parents...they were murdered by some sort of demon..." he whispered, his head lowered. "It was a horrible monstrosity, a bloodthirty beast that I have never heard of. It had a semblance of a man, I'm sure, but the room was dark. I....I want to find whoever killed my parents, and I want to kill it."

Ariai watched in interest as Liek attached herself to Clifford, then starting spouting off conversation in rhyme. She was a funny vampiress, and always seemed to cheer her up when she talked like that. Her eyes turned to the young boy next to her, and she listened smpathetically as he whispered his tale. A bloodthirsty beast that resembled a human male? It couldn't have been a vampire, could it? She glanced at Clifford. If he found out that we were vampires, there would be no telling what his reaction would be...

Clifford didn't often use his connections from the vampire hevans but for this time he did. He waved over a waiter and had him bend close for instructions. He sent the lad off in a hurry and not five minuets later he returned with a opaque glass filled with blood. Clifford took it and sett it before Leik and patted her hat a little. "There there Leik. Remember that there is always oppertunities if you will take them. Herre. Drink up and if you want I will get you more."

The man smiled softly at the strange woman before looking at the very soft spoken gentleman sitting near Ariai. "Your tale is most perplexing...how long ago did it happen sir? Maybe we can assist you." He would tread this cautiusly but to his ears this poor lad might haave been one of the first victums of who ever has been killing humans and sending out their zombified corpes to menice the city. "Would you like a drink as well?" He could see that the boy hadn't actually fed and chances were that he had never been shown how.

Liek smiled at him in thanks before taking it and sipping it at first before taking bigger drinks. Her fangs were more prominant at the taste of blood on her tongue and they ached for the feel of skin beneith them but she skillfully ignored it. The glass was soon empty and her top lip was stained red from the drink. She looked towards the boy and watched him unblinking as she held the last of her drink on her tongue for the wonderful flavor. She swallowed it and looked at Clifford.

"I don't know how to to care for one so young. I thought you might Cliffy, that's why I brought him in such a hurry. Another drink would be nice, but instead my tea with my special spice. It would be familiar to him, the tea filled to the brim." She said talking of her special tea that was laced with blood... Well, it was made with blood as the water... but the tea leaves made it so dark one couldn't tell. She had now rearranged herself to where she was on Clifford's lap, her hat on the chair she had been occupying and her nest of hair held up was now visible and even more strands were falling from it down on her neck and back.

Clifford smiled again at the lady on his lap. "Good thinking Leik. You are on the ball tonight." He called over the waiter again and had the mixture made up for the boy. As the cup was sett before the new vampire Clifford put his arms around the woman he sired long ago and rested his hands on the table looking between the youth and Ariai. It felt good to be around the people he cared so much about.

Calli approached the pair carefully. The strange vampire had a dark aura to him that raised the hairs on her neck. "Good evening, sir and lady," She said amiably as she caught up to him. She turned to the human. "I saw you talking to the people under the lamppost. My name is Calli. I'm rather new to the city and I was wondering if you could perhaps guide me to the nearest motel?" Calli didn't know this vampire, but something was desperately telling her to keep the girl away from him.

Deimos had been about to reply to the androgenous looking creature when another vampire appeared. A sneering look flashed across his face for only a second. It was soon replaced with a chamring smile. "I know of a wonderful motel for you to stay at, Miss Calli. I can give you directions, if you wish," he offered. Why was this new figure disturbing him? All he wanted was to play with his food for a small while before taking his leave.
The vampire tried to make his ice blue eyes as soft and friendly as possible. There had been many times in the past that, when mixed with his smile, he had gotten out of situations more dangerous than this one. But, if this other vampire could read his thoughts, then his plans for chaos would fail before they even began. Pulling a ribbon out of his pocket, he tied back his hair in the way that Vampires in stories did.

"Uh... I think I know the one he's talking about," Faith said thoughtfully as she pulled her wallet and a pen from her pocket. "I'll give you the address. Any cab can take you," the red haired woman added as she pulled out one of her business cards and scrawled the address down. SHe was not trying to advertise herself that time. Her business cards were the only paper she kept in her wallet aside from money. It was easier for her that way.

"I would take you but I live across the city and I really need to be going," Faith explained as she handed over the card. Nodding at both Deimos and Calli, she pushed her way passed them and headed down the street while shoving her wallet back into her pocket.

"Not two weeks ago, sir," he mumbled, his lips hardly moving as he formed and spoke the words. "And tea would be nice, thank you," he added off-handedly, not really caring what this "secret spice" was the woman spoke of. He could care less, to be honest. As long as his parents were avenged, he had no care in the world what happened to him in the physical sense, unless he was unable to fulfill his task.

"Will you help me?" He looked up, a pleading look in his large, tear-stained eyes. He knew he couldn't do this on his own...he knew nothing about murder and revenge.

Clifford pursed his lips slightly as he thought about the situation. It was like dancing on the edge of a sword really. For some reason Clifford had no doubt that this lad had been an early victum of whoever was trying to disrupt their way of life...if not start an all out war with the humans. For one so young this boy would care very little who was good and who was bad, it only mattered that they were vampires and he would wish them dead unless they warmed him to themselves.

As the tea arrivied Clifford had it placed in front of the lad. "Drink that while it is still warm. It tasets bad when it gets cold." He then looked at his other companions. "I have no say in what these lovely ladies do or think but I beleive that I will help you...but...you must help me as well. What do you say to that? Nothing really extrem but you could say it would be a learning exseriance to both of us."

In the back of his mind Clifford knew that he would get attached to this youth just as he had gotten attached to Leik when she was first made. One thing Clifford was known for was being very protective of his children as he liked to call them. He went half mad when Leik had gotten taken from him and it took everything that the king and queen had to keep him from going on a rampage. Ariai had helped get his sanity back and even helped him liberate Leik again but the damage was done by then. He hugged the vampiress a little as she sat on his lap happy that at least she was there with him at the moment.

The dark-haired male watched as his meal began to walk away. Before the other creature had a chance to put away the card, Deimos grabbed it and scanned it. Making a small noise of satisfaction, he gave the card back to the woman. "Sorry about that, Miss. I've just a very curious person, and I do things without thinking," he explained. "If there is nothing else I can help you with, I shall take my leave." With that, the vampire nodded his head in dismissal and began to walk down the street.

The bloodsucker was now determined to follow his prey. Faith Anderson: a paranormal investigator, of sorts. How deliciously ironic! Deimos could only wonder what she would taste like, as he held her in his arms and drained her of her essence. The thoughts tantillized him. It was making him impatient, but he had to be cautious. His food might suspect him.

For a paranormal investigator, she was not the most observant woman in the world. She had lucked out when she discovered her love of the occult. She was more focused on getting home and digging through her freezer for a frozen dinner. She had skipped going out to save herself some extra cash. "Why can't I live somehwere where phenomenas are always happening?" she asked herself, sighing. "Some place that has a history of it! This city is duller than dirt!" As she said that, she kicked at some dirt on the ground.

Her aparment was five blocks away and she could see it in the distance. It was a soothing thought that she would soon be safe in her little aparment with a relatively decent meal and a good book. She would have opted for watching television had she had a television set. Alas, it was one of many luxuries she could not afford. 'I'm pathetic,' she thought depressedly.

A small giggle sounded from the very sensitive and very ticklish vampiress when hugged even a little. She relaxed against him gently. She couldn't even fathom what love felt like, nor did she hold any romantic ideals in her mind. Clifford was a stronghold for her to balance and hang onto. She'd known both for as long as she could remember being in the vampire society. She didn't remember much of what happened to her, only brief flashes of painful times that she'd prefer not to remember. That is why she kept her mind so childish and busy.

"Don't add anything to the mixture, it's quite the enjoyable fixture. You'll like it just the way it is I swear, or else it just wouldn't be very fair." She told the boy with a childish and anxious look as she waited to see how he liked her tea. Her hands were curled into loose fists and up to her cheeks. Her bare stocking feet braced on Clifford's legs as her knees curled to her chest which in turn held her hands to her face.
