Akumu reached to grab Tomar's collar again, but the slippery cat boy doged his attempts and made a dash for the stairs. "Miss Yuki," Akumu began ina cold voice indicationg that he was rather angry about how his plans had been trampled. "must I repeat myself to you? If so, you've greatly lost your touch. Even you should be able to see the many weeknesses in working alone, especially for a channelar such as yourself." Akumu said as he turned and fixed an emotionless star at Yuki. Curse this woman. If she would have just swallowed that stubroness of hers, things might actually turn out properly. He angrilly thought to himself. "Now miss Yuki," Akumu said as he slowly walked up to the woman, "because of your carlessness, I now have to track down that cat boy and pay him for my wasted time. I don't suppose you'd be willing to make amends for this little problem, now would you?" He asked with a deceptivly sweet smile.

Yuki returned Akumu's stare with her own glare.
"I hope you're not blaming me for this incident Akumu." she said angrily. Its not like she was the only one who didn't like this arrangement. That damn cat boy wasn't making it any easier. And even if being a channeler had its few disadvantages, she could handle it. She then sighed as she thought about this for a few more minutes. Turning away from Akumu she folded her arms across her chest.
"Honestly. Having to deal with one partner is enough. And now I have to deal that boy." she said with an annoyed tone. I guess this is the only thing that can be done right now. I'll just have to deal. I can probably learn from this. Yuki thought as she turned back to Akumu.
"Well then, come on. Time to get the cat, and teach it how to behave." she said quietly as she turned to walk out of Akumu's office.

Well, apparently, there are no persons with the sight around here, or mayhaps they took me for a dog, who knows. Now, how do I get out of this city? Rising and streching out, Rowan took off in the direction towards a street corner, where he might be able to find his way back to somewhere familar. Looking up, he could see that there was a park only about a block away. Noting the street name, the wolf shot off like an arrow towards the park. Everynow and then, he would glance at a post, and dash off elsewhere. The park he ended up, was not too far away from the GLA itself, and looked well enough to take a break at while he tried to remember the way back. Good, now I can get back. Next time I do anything like this I shall make sure to pay attention to the corners. Trotting calmly over to a bench, Rowan hopped up, and sat. The only way anyone would move him, was if they went to sit on him. He had been running awhile after all.

Akumu nodded at Yuki as he watched her descend the stairs. He did stop for a minute to take note of the fact that the woman moved rather nicely when she wanted to. Smirking at his thoughts he pressed the elevator button. Modern technology. gotta love it. Akumu entered the elevator and pressed the button for the first floor. As the elevator was making it's descent, he began thinking up all of the likely places the cat boy would visit. Ugh. It's times like this that our friendly neighbor hood GLA wolf would be very usefull. That nose of his would help imensly. He thought to himself as the elevator finished it's descent.

As Yuki stepped into the Stairwell, she thought quickly. If I move fast enough, I should be able to make it to the bottom floor at the exact time Akumu reaches the bottom floor on that damned elevator. With a slight nod to herself and a determined look, she began to run down the staircase, jumping steps, and hopping over a few railings to skip multiple steps. Her speed kept increasing as she lowered. Damn, I may be just a bit behind him, but by the time he gets out of the elevator and makes his way to the stairwells door, I should be standing there. she thought raising her speed to the max. To any on lookers, it would seem like her feet weren't touching the ground, and she was gliding above the steps.
Yuki was at the 2nd floor and decided to jump the railing, and skip all steps to the ground floor. Here Goes she thought to herself, as she placed her hands on the railing, and jumped over the railing which was above the ground floors, floor. Her landing was fast, and graceful. Her left hand, and right knee were the first to touch the ground. She quickly stood up and threw the door open. When she stepped out she saw the elevator doors were closed, and that Akumu was but a few steps away from her, in what seemed like Deep thought.
She quickly grinned at her speed, and then put her usual exterior on.
"I guess elevators aren't as fast as everyone believes them to be."she said to Akumu with the smallest smirk.

Yuki stared at Akumu's arm around her shoulder, and glared at him. She quickly maneuvered her way out from his arm, and then looked at Akumu.
"Don't touch me. You know I don't like it" Yuki stated as she turned towards the glass doors, and made her way out.

Akumu laughed as Yuki shook herself free from his arm. He put his hands in his pockets and followed the head strong woman out the doors. He spared a quick glance at the woman's figure. She really is a pretty thing. Too bad her personality is so cold. He thought to himself as the two reached the street. "If we follow this street, it'll lead to the park where I found Tomar earlier. He was having some problems with one of the homless guys trying to take over the bench our cat boy had been napping on. He might've reterned there to reclaim the bench or something." Akumu suggested as he pointed toward a street on the duo's left.

Akumu watched the retreating figure of Yuki for a moment. Ten bucks says she's off to meet my secretary. Poor thing, probably about to get shot down in flames. He just better not be giving here free run of the place. There's a ton of info around that I don't really want her to get into. He thought to himself as he waited for the ice queen's return.
It didn't take long for Yuki to re-emerge from the GLA building. "My secretary say anything usefull?" Akumu questioned the woman in a half teasing manner. He put his hand on Yuki's back and began to guide her toward the street they werer to take.
