So a Bronco is basically a short bed pick up truck? I didn't realise that this whole time there was a canopy over the back.

It your bronco hard to park? Do you have power steering?
A friend of mine has a jeep, which her father wants to sell. I've driven it a little, and its certainly a very physical thing to drive. Its slow, and heavy, and takes effort to turn. I've been thinking reciently how cool it would to have as my own.

Power steering and brakes are a yes. And I acually find it very easy to park, the turing radius is rediculoustly good.
What kind of jeep?

Uh, its some kind of kit jeep, if that makes any sence. I have no idea what the origional chasis is. The body is a fiberglass, jeep wrangler body, one of the old school ones with square headlights. The engine is a toyota something something, probably out of a old land cruiser. Its been lifted and its sitting on big tires. It was slow to drive, but no one was hooting. One quick stomp on the breaks and they'd be muched. Its turning raduis was about as good as a old beetles...maybe slightly better.

So theres a very good chance that this journal is going to be locked soon.
I've become tired of finding bondo, bondo, and more bondo under various panels, especailly when it literally peels off the metal behind it. So I'm thinking harder and harder about parting it out and getting a new one to work on.
It sucks. cry

Oh dear... Parting it out and getting a newer bronco to work on would probably lead to a stronger more stout vehicle that would be better for offroading. If the car can't go, then donor it out so it can live a longer life...

I dunno anymore. I want to at least keep the bronco together until august, because theres a bronco rally that I want to go to with some buddies. but after that who knows.
I really like my bronco, I love how I can take it up trails that my buddy's Jeep XJ has a problem with. But the rust is killing it, and it will take somehardcore work to make it as good as the 78-79 broncos were.

Crumbs man. Any idea what you are going to do with that money? At least you have good pictures of that Bronco, and I doubt you'll ever forget him/her/it.
