Quickly engage clutch.
Apply more throttle.
Apply yet more throttle.
Wait for "Bang!"

Nah, just stop screwing around while on pavement. In other news, I've been having a blast with my Tmaxx now that I know how to tune it. Some new tires too, while I've been bashing pavement and grass more than dirt and mud.   Woo! Hardcore IFS flex! xd

I'm still waiting to get my diff back from the shop. In the mean time, I'm probably gonna get my piece of s**t F150 parts truck towed to the school, tear it apart, then get it taken to scrap. It has the gears needed to make match the gears in my rear diff to my front, thankfully. I also have someone who wants to buy the transfer case out of it. (image)Then I'm gonna get my truck to the school, swap out diffs and front ends, and hopefully get it fixed and ready to go. I'll probably also install my trailer hitch and fix a couple holes in the floorboards, mabye get some other s**t done like cleaning up the interior. confused evil

I got the drivetrain fixed, need to replace the rear driveshaft (All U-joints fuxxored). Thats $200 right there.
I'm getting a lift for the front end so that it rides level, and I'll install that when I replace the front gears.
I also might be selling it. neutral

I'm getting a lift for the front end so that it rides level, and I'll install that when I replace the front gears. I also might be selling it. neutral Any idea what you'll get in its place?

Probably a pickup; I'm looking at an older diesel 3/4ton ford or dodge.
I've also had my eye on an older Bronco (1978-79) or a F-250 Extended cab of the same year.
I dunno yet. I'm going to be starting a GM mechanic apprenticeship as soon as I finish high school, so all plans are on hold except sell my Cavalier.

So, I'm waiting on money to replace my rear driveshaft; once I sell my Cavalier, I'll be putting a 4" lift in my bronco and stuffing a new set of 35x12.5R15 tires under it. biggrin In the mean time, I'm buying myself a new truck. It's big, It's bad, it's painted olive drab and it's a crew cab. biggrin  that's gonna be my winter beater and tow vehicle. 1-ton dodge 4x4!
