((What can I say? If my characters become useless before they suffer rom severe suffering of some kind, I just don't feel like I've done a proper job. sweatdrop ))
The whole ordeal had been brutal. The pile of what had once been a human turned into a zombie-like state had given him quite a fight. He was still not at quite full strength, but something like this shouldn't have been any trouble. It seemed like they somehow got stronger. How strange... Right now however, he was thirsty. He would without doubt collapse again if he didn't get a drink. Luckily, there was a nearby haven. He had never been there himself, but it was good to know how to find it for emergencies at least. And this was an emergency. He managed to pull himself togetherto walk steadily and go over there. It was typhical of his luck to be attacked out of the blue like he had been just now. All he had been trying to do was to see if he could find his way around, and it seemed it had gone better than expected.
As he finally managed to get into the haven and get himself a drink, his nerves calmed down. It wasn't until then that he noticed that the smell from the person earlier was lingering here. Whoever it was, that person obviously spent a lot of time here. He was about to ask the bartender if he knew anything about it, when his eyes suddenly locked with the waitress. They both looked at each other with surprise for a second. Georg was stunned as his brain tried to process where he had met her before, while she angrily stomped closer. It wasn't until then that he realized that this was the person he wasn't supposed to interact with. "Bartender, do me a favour and keep her busy while I slip away, will you?" Georg said. "I'm not supposed to talk to her." "Can do" the bartender answered. As Georg quickly left the haven, Anger was kept from following by her sire. "Leave me alone, this is my chance" she angrily yelled at him. "Not in this state. I taught you to fight, but I also taught you to fight fair. This would not be fair." "I swear, if you were anyone else, I would've eaten your intestines by now." she hissed back.

((Not fair! Poor Georg gonk ))
Faith yawned as she walked around the empty mansion. She knew Ariai had left but she could not find Clifford for the life of her. She had wanted to ask him more about his knowledge of the situation since he had been the one to hire her. Surely he'd know quite a bit of information already if he had felt it severe enough to hire her on the case. And, of course, there was that Vampire that was so fond of stalking her.
'The one who attacked me... I doubt Clifford would approve of seeing him...' she thought, feeling a dull throbing in her neck. While the puncture marks had healed the red head still felt the pain the way she had when it happened. It was not a feeling she wanted to experience again. However, he had made mention of giving her the information she was searching for.

((Just for the record: I have no idea how much/little I'll be able to get on during the summer, since the only internet I have access to is one that is worse than 56k.))
After running for at least an hour, Georg sat down against a wall. He was afraid. He had found the person he had been forbidden to look for without meaning to, but now that the damage was done, he had to decide if he would go back and try to find out more, or if he should go back home. His biggest cocern was the Queen. He couldn't possibly tell her about this. There was no telling what she would do to him if she found out, and he would rather not find out. He would have to be very careful around the mansion, and try to find alternatives to living there. For a split second he considered trying to become an independant, but shrugged the idea off. He was lost without his Queen, he knew it.

(( gonk Live! *kicks some life back into this place*))
Faith let out a loud yawn and rubbed her eyes. She had been working in the library for a little over an hour, waiting for Clifford or Georg to return. She had never felt more alone and frustrated with her work than she did at that moment. It was almost as though forces were working to slow down her progress in the case.

The weeks had gone by entierly too slowly for the elder vampire as he waited for his dear Ari to come home. He hadn't gotten any further in his investigation either. Mulling over all these facts he walked into the library to think on the current events. The cases of sickness were growing too fast and the zombie inncodenes were climbing in numbers. It was indeed a dark time. As he started to pace in the library he spotted Faith sitting there. "Oh...hello Faith. Sorry I have not been helping you as much as I should. I just have a lot on my mind."

I wonder what you're doing Clifford... Ariai turned over on the bed, worn out. I miss you and the others...
"...No use just sitting here and doing nothing. I have work to do!" She jumped up and headed outside into the hallway.
"Ari, it's not good. A whole flood of diease victims just came in."
Ari bit her lip and nodded. "I'm coming." Thankfully she was returning home in half a week, so she wouldn't be in all this chaos for much longer.

((Wow, it's been a long time since anyone posted. I suppose I'll give this a go then.))
Slowly, slowly, Georg stood up and started to walk back home. It wouldn't do any good to remain where he was, but it was also more likely that he would find a solution to his problems somewhere that he felt safe. Besides, that wasn't very important now either, he reminded himself. What mattered the most was trying to find any useful information on those that broke the law of vampires.

I certainly would, I really like playing Liek, though I kind of lost where she could fit in. But I would definately love to continue, this was one of my favorite roleplays.
