Rihara awoke suddenly with a sleepy moan, and immediately tried to pull the bed sheets over her head. She wondered, with a groggy head why she felt so uncomfortable, and more importantly to her, why she couldn't find the bloody sheets! Deciding there was nothing for it, she opened her eyes, and looked around her. She was lying on the hard wooden floorboards, with most of what made up her bed scattered around the room.
Rihara rolled her eyes at herself, and slapped her forhead with a grunt. She slowly remembered she had dreamt about an army of crazy female bandits, who for some reason, had decided to attack her with bunches of fruit...
That would explain why her room was in such a state. With a heavy sigh Rihara dragged herself to her feet and headed to the door...

"Oh merciful goddess why again especially when I didn't drink last night" he muttered before turning around. He glared at the other paladin his arms folded "What are you doing here Samantha?" he queried his tail flicking in anger. Samantha ignored the glare and smiled "Can't I spend the night with my husband?" she said far too sweetly.
Kain rolled his eyes "Were not married and never will be" he almost shouted, with one point he spoke still sternly "Leave now". The smile had dropped from Samantha's face as she stood, pulling on her clothes "We will be eventually or would you like to enrage the Goddess even more" she said in before leaving. Kain grasped his face tightly his fingers running down it "Damn that witch" he muttered trying to keep his temper in check.

Soirka awoke and groaned... she'd been kept awake half the night by Rihara making strange banging noises in her room... Soirka had wondered if her friend was ok but then she decided not to get involved.
She wondered sleeply down the hallway to where she knew she could bathe and starred in wonder when an angry looking female steeped out of Kain's room... looks like she wasn't the only one who didnt have a good night. She suppressed a grin and walked on.

Kain used the inns facility's then threw on a layer of clothing before leaving his room. He made his way down to the bar quite glad he'd not stayed at the barracks that night. He entered the bar and ordered a breakfast before sitting down at a table with room for three more people.

Rihara saw the woman leave Kain's room, and frowned slightly more out of confusion then annoyance. Rihara thought that Paladins were supposed to be more sexually restrained than that...not including herself in that assumption. She shrugged and was about to go to the wash room, when she realised a patron had stopped and was staring at her...she was about to walk down a corridoor naked...
Gasping slightly she rushed back inside her room, grabbed her cloak, some clothes and waited for the bathroom, laughing a little at the gawping man.
Once the washroom was free, Rihara decided she needed a good bath to sooth her aching muscles, after their ordeal on the floorboards, and to clear her mind of fruit-weilding bandits...
Once she had finished, she got changed there and then, and headed down to the bar, careful to look as human as is possible for a demon. As an extra procaution she slipped into a pair of sandals to hide her sheathed claws, and lightly threw on her cloak. As she wandered downstairs, she noticed Kain and sat next to him:
"So...been a naughty paladin have we?" She said in a friendly, teasing way.

Kain sighed at the question "No idea that witch was just next to me" he said frowning. He perked up slightly when a plate of bacon, sausages hash brown and toast was place in front of him. As he dug into the rather meaty breakfast he glance at her "Why do you ask?" he said between mouthfuls.

Rihara raised an eyebrow: "How could you NOT know why there's a naked woman in your bed?" She said grinning as Kain tucked into his large meal.
In response to his question she said:
"I was just wondering...putting me aside, doesn't your Goddess ban intimacy outside of marriage?" She asked sincerely curious.

Kain rolled his eyes "Because I went to bed, as far as I know with out anybody else there" he said scowling. He thought about the second question, "She's iffy I believe" he said before continuing to devour the meat.

"What?! You mean you honestly don't know?" Said Rihara quite honestly shocked. "Could she have done something to you? You don't think she used magic or drugs?" Rihara asked quite concerned. She knew that an iffy god was as bad as an angry one, and didn't want Kain getting in trouble; but if he honestly didn't know any better, would the goddess see fit to punish him?

"this sounds like a very deep conversation to be having at so early in the morning," Soirka spoke as she joined them with a bowl of sticky rice. "Besides what were you up to last night? flipping banging keeping me awake half the night!" she exclaimed, looking at Rihara.

Rihara smiled as the Angel joined them at their table:
"Morning Soirka...looks like Kain's been having some girl trouble, if you know what I mean..."She said with a wink and grin.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry, but I was having a really really disturbing dream, had me tossing and turn...wait!I swear that's all it was!" Rihara said when she saw the skeptical look in Soirka's eyes, holding her hands up as she attempted to dispell the disbelief in her friend's face.

Kain rolled his eyes at the discussion and simply ignored it as he continued to eat. Once done he looked at the pair "By the way we'll be having a few other paladins joining us, and don't worry there my friends they won't try and burn either of you two" he said as he stood leaving the main bar to rake his pack out of his room.
(Blech.)

Soirka chuckled and raised an eyeborw. "They could try... it might be interesting. Besides we all know who'd win," she grinned ruefully then she regained her serious composture "Why are they joining us?" she asked and began to eat. "I feel Alchaeon is anxious. Whatever you are planning, Kain, I suggest we do it quickly!" she told him.

Kain didn't hear Soirka and as a result did not answer the question. He returned moments later passing them by saying "Meet you by the stables" he said leaving the building soon after. He didn't think people would antagonize the duo while in the bar or this early in the morning. He hoped he was right because he really didn't feel like holding off some of the more persistent fanatics.
Of course the fanatics would always cause him trouble as he'd proven he was not a traditional priest who simpled smighted demons for the hell of it. Although in there eye's smiting demons was the role of a paladin, which was to him complete horse manure. That in mind he chuckled as he reached the stables and found Sylph, who greeted him with a nuzzle which rewarded the horse with a single cube of sugar.

Soirka drummed her fingers on the table for a few moments before sighing and going back upstairs to gather her bits together. She noticed that the wind was making an odd sound against the window and slung her pack over her shoulder in ahurry before leaving.
Once outside she tilted her head to the wind and it teased her cheek with its soft touch. she half closed her eyes and drifted. 'I am waiting, the angels are angry... expect trouble,' Alchaeon's words flowed around her.
Do not worry about us... if we need you, I will call. She replied.
You know I will always answer. He responded and she broke the link, the wind died once more and she headed across to the stables.
"Where are we heading now?" she asked Kain. "Alchaeon is anxious," she told him.
