Serenity giggles as it wasn't hard to imagine what kind of horror stories Leyla feed her brother. "Too bad your mum took your broom, I just hope it was worth it. Mine was... how can I say this...? Boring. As usual I spent half the summer with my brother and the muggle side of the family. Although it was nice to visit my grandparents, there's nothing to do out in the country. Other than that I guess I can't complain too much."

Following Leyla as she starts towards their ride Serenity responds, "I'd love to! It sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe I can convince my parents to let me go during the next holiday. It must be nice having all that extra space with your brother gone." Climbing up into the first available spot she sits down. There were a few other girls with them, but no one that Seren really knew that well.

"Oh, and believe me, I could really use the practice. I'm feeling a little rusty. Haven't had much of a chance to fly since break began ya know?" As soon as Leyla got herself situated the coach begins up the path to Hogwarts.

Laughing Serenity remarks, "Maybe I shouldn't have told you that." Then catching her breath continues on to the next subject at hand. "It would be interesting if Marco was sorted into Slytherin, but if he's in Gryff then at least I can keep an eye on him. Isn't it kinda weird how you and David were in different houses?" She leans back into the seat and looks upwards hoping to catch a glimps of the stars between the treetops.

"Yup, that they are. So I guess it really depends on your personality or something. Although it seems most families tend to be in the same house for generations, there are a few exceptions here and there." It wouldn't be too much longer before they reached the castle. Serenity sits up and smiles over at her friend, "I'm just glad I'm not in Slytherin. Can you imagine me being anything like them?"

Not meaning to offend her friend Serenity adds, "Of course I meant most Slytherins... there are always a few exceptions to the rule. You can totally see what I mean by Camille's example though. Poor Cierra, I hadn't seen that part. I only saw when you were making Ayres dance." A mishievious grin spreads across her face. "I'd love to see you give her some smiling lessons. Are you sure you are up to the challenge?"

Now it was difficult for Serenity to keep a straight face as her friend's hair turned itself into horns. She begins to giggle quietly then covers her mouth to stifle the sound as she laughs louder. "I'm so sorry, yes...yes ...I can see you are more than ready. How could I have ever doubted that?" Slowly their carriage came to a halt as they reached their destination. "I can't wait to see her face when it finally cracks. Just make sure I'm with you when it happens."

As soon as Leyla steps out Serenity hops down onto the ground beside her. "Excellent. I can hardly wait for that day, but for now we feast! You know this is my favorite part of returning to Hogwarts." Laughing again she breifly places a hand on Lala's shoulder, "I hope the food's just as good as I remember it." Miss Knight then walks towards the entrance.
