Professor Breanna had been walking by when she caught wind of some of their conversation. "you know i think that Young Jae would be a good person to hang around, he is one of the brightest students i have," She smiles, "And of course some could argue about your house being the best. They all have their special quilities."

Pet chicken. Weird. Young Jae thought over his eggs, And who's this Solsaiden Hel she's talking about?
He supposed it must be a some Hufflepuff. A guy Hufflepuff. With special qualities. Young Jae wondered where this guy was, seeing as he's the only male student he knows exists in the entire school. Maybe it's a cross-dresser. A guy posing as a girl.
Maybe every guy in the school except for him were cross-dressers. It'd be a logical explanation why he's the only male student, as far as he knows.
Young Jae swallowed his toast, closing his eyes, calming himself. No, he musn't laugh. He must not laugh.
"Ahaaaahahahaahahahahahahah!" he had to hold his sides to steady himself, "No way! No way! Too funny! Ahhhaahaha!"

This is how the conversation went:

Here goes a long pause, then-
"Ahaaaahahahaahahahahahahah! No way! No way! Too funny! Ahhhaahaha!"
Young Jae realized how wrong it could have sounded. After a few minutes of wiping his tears of laughter, he rose up from under the table and, still smiling, apologized, "Sorry. I was thinking about something else. I didn't mean it that way."

Professor breanna looked affended, "By the way I was trying to stick up for you, but whatever." She says and walks away.

Aly was laughhing politley behind her hand but stopped quickly when she saw the look on the Professor's face.

Young Jae realized he had offended her. What? Why? He did explain and he even apologized.
He watched after her disappearing figure. Women. Girls. So complicated. He thought in exasperation. If there was a book about understanding women, it'd be a bestseller and he'd have the first edition.
Deciding he can't do anything about it, he faced his omelette and placed a chunk of it in his mouth.

"Huh?" Young Jae broke out of his trance, "Who's complicated?"
Then he suddenly swallowed a whole sausage. He choked, coughed, thank goodness the sausage was small.
"Wha-what?! You-You read my mind?!" He banged the table with his two fists as he stood up in surprise, "How could you tell what I was thinking of?!"

"Oh sorry." Aly blushed and moved to a different seat, trying to hide the tears running off her face. She thought,"Well there went my chance of making friends."

Young Jae watched in surprise as a boy fell through the window and onto the sausages. He could only gape as he walked away, apparently unscathed.
"Hogwarts keeps on getting weirder and weirder everyday, eh, Aly?" He concluded after some time.
