Ryu looked tot he scared man "shall we join her?" With that he seemed to simply disappear. Fact was, he was following Nikida through the shadows in the trees. He had felt the presence of the powerful being through the forest itself. And while better judgement said to avoid a pointless fight, he felt it prudent to learn about this powerful being, if only to have an idea of what all dangers this land had to offer.

(( Now I've hit twice!! -looks at the red hand- ........-.-))
Rekko closed his eyes, using his element power of Earth to search out his surroundings, he used his other powers to sense if others were around him as well, he searched pretty far, mostly finding inhabitants of the forest that were not human, but then, after quite a long search he found a human, of at least something that walked on two legs walking in his directions, and with the help of his darker elements he sensed that another was following the two-legged thing.
"Finally, no more waiting...." He sighed softly, letting his power fade away, though the barrier around him did not fade. If ones eyes were keen then they'd easily see the stirring of the air around Rekko. He knew it would be obvious that they would easily see him as a slave or a battle-hardened warrior, he was both actually but more of the slave since that's what he was his entire life, and he simply fought with the experience of a battle-hardened warrior. Mostly he knew they'd see him as either of these because of the immense scars, brandings, and even some carving that littered across his body, and though they were not easily visvible, they were seen visible slightly because of his pathetic and tattered up clothing.
He simply waited them out, his stance did not look threatening in any way but instead looked a bit defensive. Which was quite true, since he'd rather make these inhabitant's his allies, and maybe...his friends. Just the thought made bitterness well up inside him, for he never once, in his entire lifetime, had had a friend.

Since he was moving through the shadows, it was little surprize that when this new powerful being searched and found him within the shadows, that he took pause. He didn't like that he could be found out, so when he felt the presence fade, he used some of his mystical techniques to make himself like the shadows themselves, indistinguishible from the rest of the shadows, then proceded on. He knew Nikida was and archer, so range was factored in, but he didn't know beyond that what she could do, nor what this new being could do, so he remained cautious.

Nikida stopped a mere five feet in front of the flame barrier. Her keen eyes had picked it up further back. It was almost the same effect as when you stared across plains on a searing summer day. He's not human either... But is that a good or bad thing? That's the question. Finally she decided to speak still sitting in her tree. "Why visit my humble little forest if you enjoy flaunting your power?" The trip over she had grown from concerned to offended.
They were supposed to respect the forest and it occupants, that was her belief and yet here he was the smell of smoke still lingering. It was the smoke caused when you burned fat ant bone. Thick and oily almost. Her bow was in one hand but she had decided against drawing an arrow just yet, unsure if she could even phase him with this... shield up.

Rekko was instantly on his feet once the woman talked, he could've gotten up long before, but found no point to do so, yet. His dark gaze slowly looked upward to her sitting in her tree "I am not flaunting my power, do not assume such things when you have only just met me" He said in a tone that purposed that he was a bit offended by her words, which was a bit true "I am now an exile...or I think I am...I was a slave, got caught killing one of my 'owners' and was accused of killing all of the previous mistress's that once 'owned' me as well since they are all dead...it is true, and so they 'exhiled' me, so now...I am here" He shrugged, not really knowing what else he could say
He scratched the back of his head, then his fire shield disappeared, though of course if she was smart, she'd probably know that, that did not mean he was totally defenseless. He only lowered his shield because she had said he was flaunting his power, which he wasn't "I am in an unknown forest, with beasts all around, I had the shield up for a reason, and those beasts tried to attack me and met the power of my shield, it wasn't my fault......" He was only explaining himself to her because he would rather her know the truth of it than assume things.

She looked back just as offended by him. "So you weren't flaunting your powers?" She shrugged. "Right. Because I enjoy killing primitive beast en masse instead of disabling them or making an example of just one. No the full out blood shed is a far better method." She had taken in his story and contemplated it heavily. He looks like he can take care of himself but...
Finally finished she let a silence descend before questioning him again. "So you're an exile?" Something about him makes me doubt it possible for him to be a slave... It's his power. A cadre of human guards would turn to ash as quickly as the beast probably did considering there are no corpses present in the area. She still didn't approach him regardless of the fact she had noticed the dangerous sheild go.

Rekko smirked wickedly, just barely, as he saw the comtemplative look on her face and in her eyes, it was obvious, or at least to one such as him. He let the smirk disappear and answered her "Look, I've been a slave my entire life, I killed anyone I wanted, I messed with anyone I wanted, I disobedied my Mistress's because I wanted...I became a slave against my will, yet I remained one because I wanted..I doubt you would EVER understand why I remained as one, so I'll leave it at that" He frowned a bit, it was a very real one, mostly because he hadn't thought about not killing the beasts while he could've just disabled them easier still.
"I'll take your words to heart, the next time I shall not kill in 'masses' but instead disable them, or kill only one if it is required..." He was only saying this to insure her that he really was sorry, which he was "And, yes...Yes I am an exile....I uh..don't really know what to do as a new exile..." He blinked in confusation, for he had always been a slave, and he thought he always would be, even if he was quite the disobedient one. He sighed softly, a bit sorrowful sigh, he knew she probably doubted he was a slave, knew that she probably saw him as a threat, knew that she might even attack him, though she'd lose her life in the process. He looked around, his dark gaze softening from it's usual hardenness. He looked like a lost puppy that had no where to go, he looked almost pitiful.

Ryu was safely in the shadows, almost as a shadow. He watched and listened, then became disgusted with this being, all that power and he behaved in such a careless way. His voice called out from the shadows around them "for one so powerful to so willingly allow himself to be a slave, and a disobenient one at that, can only mean you were just too lazy to live on your own. To be able to kill those beasts and those men so easily and effortlessly, only proves that point. And now free, you think yourself lost and even now try to behave as a scared and lost puppy, pathetic. I've known boys half my age that could easily live on their own in the wild without the kind of powers you have." He seemed to suddenly appear next to Nikida, looking to Rekko with a scolding look in his eyes that his own master would give him for being thoughtless, careless and reckless. "You should learn to either better control you're power, or put it to better use, not simply allow it to happen. I might as well swing my swords in a carefree manner as I walk through the woods if we're gonna be so reckless. You need to learn discipline, and to think more then act, for there are yet things in this world that would feast on your power. To so carelessly let it be known, could prove fatal."

Rekko was almost instantaneously pissed the ******** off. Power surrounded him, engulfed him and throbbed roughly within his body, wanting to crush this man entirely, wanting to erase this man from existence itself. The air crackled and sparked around him, on one side of his the air turned completely hot, almost as if near magma, the other side turned to sub-zero temperatures. He closed his eyes momentarily, taking in a deep breathe, he slowly let his air out, his power faded away as his rage did.
He slowly looked up to the man, his face, eyes and body langauge totally expressionless "What you say is true..." He said, barely enough for them to hear, for it took alot for him to admit such a thing "Everything that you said is right about me...I am not perfect, neither or you, neither is the girl, we all have our faults, and those are mine...you've lived a completely different life then mine, you did not grow up the way I did....I had no teacher, no tutor, no one to learn any of that from...I WAS A SLAVE since the beginning of my life, I knew nothing else, I was content, I learnt the powers I have now..on my own, noone taught me, I stole them from one of my owners, though she did not know...Why? why do you think I came here? I am an exile now, yes...I could destroy all of my enemies, yes....but I cannot go back into the cities, I am exiled, I could easily hide myself, but to what avial?"
His rage totally subsided and a bit of sorrow appeared in his eyes, this was a very rare thing for him "Now that I'm free, I can learn those things, I can take revenge upon my enemies much faster as well...I stayed within this forest, looking for alley's....and I found more then that...maybe" He grit his teeth hard, looking away "What I'm trying to say, is can you teach me disipline? Can you teach me how to not be the way I am now? To think more?....to use my power wisely?" He asked, now looking straight into the man's eyes, he'd never asked anyone for anything, but it seems as if that just changed.
He knew he must sound quite desperate, he didn't know either one of them, he didn't trust them, didn't know if they were allies or enemies, yet the man had tore out a nerve, not simply hit it, not just touched it, he ripped the ******** thing out. Those were probably his ulimate weaknesses, yet this man saw them so easily, he had Rekko's respect for seeing them so easily, for having enough balls for telling Rekko even when he knew Rekko had immense power, which he did, he just wasn't the kind of person to have the whole package, mostly because he was a slave "Look, I know I must sound stupid, asking you like that while I know nothing about either of you...but...I have no other life, I have nothing but my power, my skin, muscles, scars, brands, carvings, and brains....nothing else.......I need somewhere new to start off again, make a new life....prepare for the war boiling up in the cites....I have nothing...I'm sure you must understand, in a way at least..can you help me?" He asked, his eyes still on the man, he was stripping himself bare infront of these...stranger's, yet he, for some strange reason, felt that this was the right thing to do.

Ryu appraised the man for a moment, much like how his master first looked upon him seeking the potential he had. "Well at least you're willing to admit your faults, that's a start." He gives Nikida a side glance a moment, then looks to Rekko, arms now crossed over his chest, and a smirk hidden behind his mask "very well, I will take you on as my disciple, but first you will ask for forgiveness from her" gestures to Nikida "and hope she allows you to stay in her village." He'd been master to many other students before, so this would be no different, save only for his power.

Rekko blinked, as if not quite understanding. His anger flared, just barely but in no way visible to them. He was an disobeying and untamed pet, he'd almost never begged in his life, never broke, never asked for forgiveness. It was hard to do this, but he did want this man to teach him his 'ways' "Please, m'am, forgive me for intruding on your grounds and destroying the beasts in your forests for no real reason.....I ask that you forgive me for it, and know that it shall not ever happen again...and I ask if I may stay in your villiage while the man next to you trains me, please...." He asked, his voice senciere(sp), his eyes on her eyes, he was doing everything in his power to not look weak while asking for her forgivness, since he always had thought asking someone for forgivness was a weakness.

Ryu smiled behind his face mask. He could tell this man was a proud sort, so asking for forgiveness would seem like a display of weakness. But sometimes one became stronger through weakness. And he would make a point of making this man endure his concepts of being weak and working through his flaws. He would forge the piece of raw iron, into keen steel. Take him to the breaking point and beyond, and if he broke, he broke, if not, then he'd be a master work.

Nikida had watched feeling more like someone in an audience to an odd play. She had already been getting to the verge of forgiving Rekko until Ryu showed up. When he had spoke, she had mentally winced at the verbal attack. Yet, Rekko seemed to take it(no matter how harshly he seemed to react to the first volley of reprimands).
She had watched on as he had gained control slowly over his emotions and looked at the trees withing the area grimly. Now too distracted looking at the scorched bar of some and the others, coated in a thick sheet of ice, she only looked back when Ryu forced Rekko to apologize to her. Loking back suddenly, she almost fell off her branch. She hadn't realised it, but she had been distracted by the fact he was showing so many weaknesses and allowing this... "Ryu" to trin him. (sincere)

Ryu quickly reached over and grabbed Nikida and steadied her on the branch. He then said so only she can hear "it would seem a new ally has been gained, and a powerful one at that. I apologies for causing him to be antagonized earlier, but at least now he shouldn't be acting to rashly." He smiled behind his face mask, then looked back to Rekko. He may have cowed him in some way, but it was clear that he still had some temper issues, so he opted to remain where he was.

She sighed relenting. "Fine, he can stay. I'll have to see how much space we have, unless you want him housing with you or something." This day was... a little bit more active, that's for sure. She looked back again noting the scars and raising a hand slightly yo her face to conceil something before asking. "Where does one get such power?" It was more like she was speaking her thoughts out loud then actually asking anyone.
