The third Neshobe laughed a little manically and said, "I can ska-wish! It will be squishied with my dirt. The spider will die. DIE SPIDER." SHe said, cakling at the end.

"If you don't mind, I'll stay back and simply shoot. And as for the burning, you could try burning it from the inside out. I'm not sure if it would work, but you never know... And, would you let me, how to put this, aquainted? with your minds enough that I'll recognize them as yours? That's how I see in a way, using psycic "sight" rather then my eyes." she explained aloud as she followed them.

Anya nodded, and unsealed her mind, just enough for the girl to read it. As a Neshobe, most people would try to read it and she has learned to keep it shut.

((I don't think Anya's name is known by anyone but possibly Tara))

[I know, posting now.]
"One, the name is Anyeria or Anya. Two, yes, I have daggers and shurikens, and the occasional arrows..." She said, witha sly grin.

She hesitantly set a hand on Anya's shoulder, for some reason physical contact always helped with this. The girl's thoughts flooded hers and she let it, seeing and memorizing the patterns the same as someone would memorize faces. She dropped her hand after a second, then looked to the other two. "May I?..." she asked cautiously.

Laio'dora gave her a strange look for about a split-second as they neared the village's exit, then decided not to say anything. Perhaps she'd simply forgotten momentarily that the natural language couldn't use actual names.
She added to the cat, and Ruan nodded agreement. ((Mentioned above and in the first bunch of posts, now, is that "first" Neshoban can't use real names, but only descriptions. And Ruan and Laio'dora are still using that language for privacy.))

She repeated the proccess with the other two, paying no attention to the individual thoughts and only to the mind. "Do what you want." she said simply, fingering something in her hand, as though rolling a staff or unstrung bow in her hand.

[Do they necessarily HAVE to be names like Red, White, Cat, etc.??]
Anya nodded in agreement.

((They don't have to be, it's just the easiest description to use when there's only one of any race or sub-race Neshobe around. For example, they could call her "Pup" if they wanted to, because that's what she looks like, and Ruan could also be called Fire, Claw, Easygoing(once they knew him well enough to tell that), etc.)) They were now a few yards away from the village border. Laio'dora turned slowly to the other three, nodded, and then took off running straight toward the monster with no more warning than that. Ruan shrugged at the other two and ran after her.

The bow she'd been fingering materilized, or at least she let anyone near see it. People always seemed uneasy when they saw it, not that she blamed them. She quickly strung it and pulled two arrows from her quiver, now visible as well. She watched the thing from the Neshobe's minds, associating what she saw with the image from their minds. Figuring out where the eyes would be, she aimed for them as she set the arrows to her bow.
Aendri circled the thing warily, high enough up that she wouldn't be recognized for what she was. She watched the Neshobe run towards it and created a small wind at their backs, to help them go faster and to hinder it. She grabbed several arrows from a quiver and set two to the bow in her hand before releasing them and loosing several more within seconds. Six arrows sped towards it, all aimed at the base of it's neck and at the same place. If they hit, which they should, all six would be practically touching, creating one large wound. She used her magic to keep any wind from effecting their course.

All of the arrows hit the spider, and... Bounced off harmlessly. Laio'dora, noticing that some of them came from above, thought as loudly as she could for Tara to transmit the message to whoever was up there and shouted: "YOU CAN'T JUST PIERCE OR CUT IT! THE ARMOR HAS TO BE SHATTERED FIRST!" She ran up to one of the front legs and drew out her Water Whip instantly, cracking it against the front left leg. There was a noise like metal shattering, and the soft flesh inside was exposed. She ran underneath it then, quickly losing ground. Ruan made it to the thing's right leg and jump-kicked it, producing a similar shattering effect but leaving himself a bit behind it. He jumped and grabbed onto a back leg before it got out of range.
