I write because I get lots of cool ideas and, strangely, I get the urge to write them down. When this occurs, it usually turns into a story. Ironically, I have yet to actually finish a novel. I've written several short stories at the request of friends, but no chapter-based story has been completed as of yet.

[Edit}: For a little gold, I'll write you one while I'm still in this writer's block. Writing other stories when I'm stuck in another often helps get my brain back on track and pull me out of the block quicker.
