K, don't think I've posted in here, before.
Short answer: because I like girls.
Long answer: Because it's beautiful. I mean, let's face it, girls are just plain better than guys. Not only in the common personality or physical attributes attributes like just generally being nicer, more nurturing, softer, and prettier but there's something spiritually beautiful about the female sex; an undefineable spark that is an ends and something wonderful within itself. Regardless of the girl, there's this purity and wonderment inside everyone. And so what can be more beautiful, more pure, more devine than the love between two girls, a romance whose wondermeant not detracted from on either end?

well I prefer romantic yuri mainly because the art is usually very beautiful.
Also I have a very strong feminine side (as you can tell from my avatar) and when I see romantic pics I dont really want to see a guy in the middle of it.

That's a complex question...but, I'll have to say...
It's probaly the fact that most of us won't see it in our lifetime and the fact of that actully happaning [the yuri] is hard to beleive.

I was talking about the love/sex, But, my answer was because with the law banning same sex marrige[no, I'm not gay and no, I'm not bi] there's probaly going to be a ban on same sex relationships as well, but yes, I agree.

Jhay-R Well, I guess it just rocks me like a hurricane I guess. See, at first it was just because I was a pervert. Then, I went deeper into it. A girl that chooses to love a woman has to go beyond the normal terms of love. When a male and a female fall in love, there maybe a little disagreement from the people and parents, but that is only if they feel like they are surprised they're a couple, and for parents it's human nature. However, if a girl falls in love with another girl, a whirlwind of emotion and questions comes up. "Is she a lesbian, too?" Not only that, but if the person she loves is a long time friend, she might ask, "If she's not, then what will happen to our friendship?" If she loves her best friend, and she doesn't love her the same way she does, then it is going to be awkward just meeting each other again. So, the one who loves her may just keep it inside, rather having them as good friends than risking their friendship and let her true feelings out. And even the first question is answered with a yes, and she is also in love with you, this next question comes about. "What will the people think... Not only that, but my friends and family? Will they accept me and my girlfriend? Or will they hate and reject us?" To go against the commonly made Male/Female coupling and to choose someone of the same sex as your partner because you truly love her more than anything in the world, despite what the others may say, that takes a lot of courage and a hell of a lot more heart to do. That's why I guess I'm into Shoujo-Ai along with Shonen-Ai. Don't get me wrong, I like M/F along with F/F and M/M, but just saying... And I'm not saying that M/F has it easier than F/F and M/M, all three have their own share of problems, although each group has different problems all three groups may have in common, or are lone to that soul group. Sgt. Alpha-Delta What brings you to Shoujo-Ai/Yuri? the romance is more sweet than girl/guy or guy/guy. Now that I think about it girl/girl seems more normal to me than guy/guy or girl/guy
