~If you've memorized all of your favorite poems from the books. (i.e. All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost....)
~If at any opportunity possible, you mention the fact that Return of the King won 11 Oscars!
I'm guilty of all of these. Whenever I mention the last one, my dad says that its like my team won the Super Bowl four years in a row. Hehehe. blaugh

hehe... The second one is almost completely true. 3/4 of the poems in the books are memorize for me!
you might be a ringer if your friend is a Lotr fan too and she (or he) gets sick of it after listening to you. (this happened, sadly. My friend doesn't hate it, she just isn't an avid fan anymore. *sob*)

the_ebb_ster *whistles innocently* You might be a ringer if you have stayed up for 48 hours just so you could watch the extended editions in a row and the special features. biggrin You might be a ringer if you dressed up in full costume to watch all three extended edition movies with your friend but had to stop for all the hobbit meals and refused all food that wasn''t period.

You might be a Ringer if...you have more Tolkien artwork in your living room than pictures of your own children. Of course, I'M not guilty of this, my artwork equals out to the pictures of my kids. I try to go 50/50 just to be fair. wink

...you watch the 3 theatrical versions (and now The Hobbit) on the days they were released in December
...you watch the 3 extended versions on March 25 (or March 23,24,25)
