what about setting up the temp thread in here? or on the site?
I just worry about the confusion caused by having two threads. Since you can't edit the first page of the shop thread what's to stop people from ordering from there still? Unfortunately most people don't read past the first page. x.x
I dunno...I just think that would be easier if you want it to be a temp thread. I think if you want to make a new shop thread it'd work better if it was going to be a permanent move.

Dearest Grey, know you are not alone in your time of mourning. If you need someone to talk to, vent, share memories with, or just a shoulder to lean on, I and the rest of the threadlings are here. You know my AIM name, feel free to contact me at any time for any reason. I'm always here to listen to you and offer comfort and sympathy. I know that you will never truely get over the loss, as any pet finds a way into its owners heart. Cherish your memories and the time you got to spend with Chino, he will always live on in those and in your heart. I plan on doing something special for you, and will make time for it as soon as possible. *luffs* I also have for you this...whatever it is o_o they call it a poem but I was never good at literature...sorry...the author is unknown sadly x_x Family friends passed it to us when our dog Fancy died, and now I want to pass it on to you. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I don't know if you've ever read For Better or For Worse, or if you remmember Farley if you have. He was the family dog from early in the comic and was a beloved family member, not just in the comic but by those who read the comic. His final moments were heroic, giving his last breaths to rescue April from the flooded river. I don't know if this will mean as much to you as it does to me, but I thought I'd share this strip.

Pansies are flowers of thoughtfulness and insight, I think they're appropriate... I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Chino. Though, he's never lost unless you let him go. Perhaps you could think of him as the guardian over your shoulder, watching over you as you watched over him and grew a bond that's hard to describe. *huggles* You know we've always got your back, whatever the reason. Be it an e-hug, a letter, a donation, or something else. We've got your back, not as a shop owner, but as our friend... and I'm sure Chino does too. I don't know if you believe in reincarnation, but I do. I also believe that people and their owners (yes, ferrets, cats, dogs, feeshes) will most likely cross paths again in another life. It may sound silly, but I think that the people and animals you love always meet again at some point. Love is just like that. biggrin *huggles* If you need anything, just let me know and I'll do all that I can to help. My feeshie also sends his love. heart heart heart

Here's something I sketched tonight (was suddenly isnpired). It's not finished yet because I wasn't sure what color to make the ferret. (yeah, the little ball of fluff is supposed to be a ferret). I'm gonna color it, but I still wanted to share it now.

I've updated my LiveJournal with a few memories and a photo. If anyone was interested in reading or commenting, my username is zombie_grey. Thanks everyone for the flowers, and the kind words and comfort. I'll try to get those images saved tonight, and I'll post them in another journal entry in a day or two.
For the moment though, I've got to study for my Chemistry exam tomorrow.

I'm sorry Grey. sad But at least you know Chino is in a better place now and will no longer be suffering.
I know that's difficult to realize, especially when you love a pet so much. I went through the same thing last memorial day when I had to put my dog of 15 years down. I had grown up with her, from puppy to adult, but I had to let her go...*big hugs* Hang in there sweets. Hang in there.

*luffs upon Grey* Like so many others, I know how you're feeling right now. I've had to watch many a pet go, and I know that my big, old dog that I've had since I was three is close to his passing, so I'm preparing myself to go through the loss of another pet again.
*uber hug* As you've said, though, he's in a better place ^-^ And, no matter what, he'll always be there in spirit, sitting in your arms waiting for you to scratch and pet him, and watching over you for the rest of your life. heart
