Hi all, my name's Ane and I've been absolutely obsessed about J. R. R. Tolkien's work since I read LotR for the first time, about 6 or 7 years ago. Since then, I've read it more than 10 times, The Hobbit about 6 times, The Silmarillion about 8, The Unfinished Tales, The Lost Tales, and any information I can read in the internet. whee

I realize it's late, but I have championships this week end, so I wont be around between friday and sunday. So I decide to post, just to say hi. I'll tell more about myself tommorow evening, that is if I'm not swamped in homework.

Hi! I'm thirteen years old and I am a huge fan of Tolkien's Middle Earth. I think the movies were o.k., but that PJ absolutely slaughtered the Battle of Helm's Deep. HALDIR LIVES!!!!! I don't care what PJ says...

Hello. My name is LegolasLady (Jeanne in real life). I am here because I am obsessed with Lord of the Rings and all of Tolkien's works. My favorite character is, of course, Legolas and has been from the first time I read the book back in 1984. I have a twin sister named Jamari whose favorite character is Elrohir. I have a 9 year old son named Killian who's favorite character is Frodo. I am into listening to hard rock/heavy metal music, studying anything Celtic, science fiction and horror movies, costume making, and archery. I have replica long-bows of both of Legolas' bows with a quiver full of both Lorien and Mirkwood arrows. I also have replicas of his white knives (though in the book he had only one). I even have a replica of Gimli's axe. My extensive collection LOTR memorabilia also includes too many action figures; replicas of the elven rings, Aragorn's ring, and the ONE ring; posters; and (my favorite) a life-size cardboard standee of Legolas! I love the colour purple. I love the Elvish language and I am learning it as quickly as I can.

Umm... Hi everyone ^_^... My name is Duo. I am 16 years old, and I am a Junior in High School. I became a Lord of the Rings fan when my father bought me the book on tape four years ago on a road trip, and I literally could not stop listening for about two weeks. I learned later that the movie was comeing out in only a few months (it was the beginning of the summer before the first movie came out). I moved into a new high school last year, and I met a few other Tolkein fans, one who is actually also a member of this guild who I will not say his name without his permission ^^. My favorite character is Faramir, and slightly behind him is Sam.
