"I don't even think home is an option anymore.."
"But anyway, we need to find some shelter. I know just the place. Follow me!"
He started to walk in the direction of the cave with the clean water stream.
Hermathio figured that they already knew he had powers, so might as well just wait until they ask. No use trying to hide it.

((Okay, I've been thinking, but all I've been able to think of is that it'd be awesome if my character got wings, cause then she'd have a better vantage point and would be able to use her powers of observation to the fullest. Or maybe some sort of shield/force field thingy that would allow her to observe and plan without too much panic.))
Eries' eyes widened as one of the boys (Jeremy was it?), started well . . . it seemed like he was ranting at her. "Tree? Wha-what?" she stammered out, taking a step back, feeling a bit on the defensive. She hadn't really noticed her surroundings, having been more focused on the people. Which, she reprimanded herself, was a bad idea. If they had been unfriendly, there may have been more in the bushes. Thankfully they were friendly, so her lapse in awareness wasn't a disaster.
She moved her gaze from um . . . Jeremy? She hoped she was getting their names right. It was awkward since she had just met them and all. Anyways, she turned her gaze from the boy to the other male of the group, whose name had completely and utterly slipped her mind, as he began to speak and walk away. "Are we sure it's even safe?" she muttered looking towards Margarette, not too keen on just walking into the woods when there were things like that . . . creature thingy out there. She tugged at her right sleeve with her left hand, twisting her fingers into the fabric. "I suppose staying here isn't any safer." she muttered, more to herself this time and she followed Hermathio. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

"Things may not be safe, but things'll be alright. We can handle anything that comes up! We have to, right?" She grinned confidently, following Hermathio as he led the way to a shelter he had supposedly spotted.
A light bulb flickered on in Margarette's brain suddenly, and she brightened up excitedly as her curiosity grew like a starving beast within her.
"OH! By the way, what was all of that cool stuff you were doing with the vine whips and all that, Hermathio? Whatever it was, it was pretty nifty!"
(( Alright! But yeah... I'm going to have the goddess step in and provide some aid for our characters. They could sure use it! XP ))

Eries' head whipped around to look at Margarette. "He was doing what?!" she asked, shock and disbelief in her voice even as her hand shot up to rub her neck. She had given herself whiplash. She had never heard of anyone doing anything like that . . . except maybe in books. Deciding that she hadn't misheard Margarette she turned to look at Hermathio. "You have . . . plant powers?!" she asked, extremely surprised.

Hermathio had been excited about what Margarette had said about his powers. She wasn't sure! But then she heard the new girl and realized there was no avoiding it. "Yea. I also control water. With the two powers combined it gives me pretty great control over my surroundings. And because we appear to be in a forest, my powers are basically at max. Hey guys we're here!" Hermathio stopped walking and pointed to a small hole in the ground." I have already checked it out. Well the plants did anyway. There are four exits up but this is the only way in. Everwhere else is to steep to enter. There is also a clean water source. Anybody thirsty?"Hermathio reached out with his powers and pulled water from the stream underground and levitated it up for them to drink. He then seperated in into thirds, figuring he could just wait until they got down into the cave to drink. He was really just showing off.

Eries stared at the floating sphere of water in shock and awe. She reached out and touched it hesitantly, eyes widening as she felt the moisture. "This is insane." she muttered as she pulled her hand back, wiping off the water on her clothes. She had never seen anything like that before.

((I've had a ton of irl drama and such to deal with... I really am sorry with my repeated inactivity. I'm starting to get my life straightened out though and get an organized schedule together. ))
