Saphira awoke the next day at roughly 9:30. She noticed that Lane had put his arms around her, and that he was still asleep. She lay for a second enjoying unti lshe gently moved his arms, and went into the next room to change into some cloths. When she returned Lane was slowly awaking Good Morning!

He smiled and said. "Good morning love. can you go across the hall and get Molly? she has to flush out my eyes and redress my wound." he stood up and removed his sleep mask showing a white pupil-less eye and one wounded eye covered in banadages

Saphira smiled, and nodded, and went out into the hall. She made a guess as to where Molly's room might be. She knocked, and then peeked in. Molly? Lane needs you to flush his eye out.

"Thanks sweetie i was just about to do that." she said softly walking into his bathroom. she went and cleaned his eyes and flushed them out. then she rewrapped his bandages and put his eye patch on his right eye

At that moment Saphira's stomach decided to make it's entrance with a big growl. She turned a bright red. Umm.. When do you usually eat in the morning? She looked at her feet embarrassed.

he nodded and went and made her breakfast and brought it back to her.

I feel like royalty! Not a slave! I thought i would be scrubbing floors, or washing windows!She laughed a little, and smiled. Your so kind! I know some people that if they were blind in both eyes they would be so miserable, but you seem to make the most out of everything!

"You have to live life to the fullest. if i was miserable i wouldn't be me. i'd be a guy laying in bed all day relying on his sister to do things for him." he said softly not liking that one bit.

Lane looked at her and said. "I'm sorry but i don't like going into crowded places. i can't tell where to move and people complain when i tap them with my cane." he sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

Lane sighed. "Let's go to the fair then. but i need you to be my eyes and help me" he said softly. he grabbed his cane and whistled. a large yellow lab bolted into the room. "Saphira this is Mia. she's my seeing eye dog." he said softly. he smiled and grabbed her harness handle. "Good Molly put the harness on her." he said softly.

Yes sir! she saluted, and then helped put the harness on Molly. As they reached the fair, she suggested taht they go on the fairis wheel if thatt was ok with him. She took him around the arm, and navigated the way through the crowd, until they reached an opening near the fairis wheel. (btw, I'm leaving for vacation tommorow, and I'm going to be gone for most of July)
