(I don't know if it's possible to join more than one guild or not, but if I can, I'm not sure I want to, for I like to keep things exclusive.)
STP slowly comes to a stop. "I agree with you...something's not quite right here...it's quiet...too quiet...Keep your eye out for anything suspicious."

"Okay..." Jackqueline replied, nervously looking around for anything.
The linkx waited until her back was turned and then attacked, it tries to bite into her neck with sharp jaws and teeth to match.
Jackqueline screams and falls, trying to get out of the way.

Shocked, STP pulls a double-ended spear from behind his back and spears the creature in the side.

The Linkx growled and shrieked at the wound to its sideand began to attack STP. Jackqueline laid on the ground all bloody.

STP gets knocked down and quickly rolls to the side to avoid getting crushed by the monstrous creature. Meanwhile he glances at Jackqueline and gasps to see the damage.

The Linkx charges at STP, nashing it's teeth with furiousity as it hungers to make a meal of both him and Jackqueline. It snaps it's jaws at him quickly.

Faced with the monster bearing down on him, STP saw his chance. He took his spear (which by now had been broken in two) and thrust it into its heart.

The Linkx screeched, a sound that reverberated through out the whole forest and the village. The crimson blood of the Linkx poured out in massive amounts, soaking the ground and STP. After that the Linkx fell dead.

Yanking himself out from under the monstrous creature and wiping the blood off his face, STP said "So much for a secret escape...the whole village must've heard that."
Picking up the two halves of his spear and returning them to his back, STP said "We have to get out of here. Now."

Jackqueline groaned and tried to lift her self up, she could no longer tell which blood was hers or not, "Ugh!" she weakly exhaled, "S-so much blood! I-it's everywhere!"

STP walked over and gently picked up Jackqueline off the ground.
"Just close your eyes and rest...you need to conserve your energy. I'll do my best to heal you once we get a safe distance away."

Jackqueline winced at the pain, but complied and was soon unconscious.
The villagers, though alerted by the Linkxes death cry, stayed inside their hunts, waiting until morning to venture the forest for an answer.
The high priest knew from the noise that the linkx had failed and that new messures had to be taken inorder to prevent the runaways to escape.

STP continued to carry Jackqueline as he ventured forth, always keeping an eye out for possible threats.
Feeling the weak beat of her heart on his chest, STP couldn't help but think to himself "She's strong in heart, yet so weak at the same time. I'll do my best to protect her as we venture into the unknown."

The high priest sneered down at the forest, ready to gather the soldiers of the village to track down the runaways. Once everything was in place they marched through the forest in search.
Jackqueline groaned in her unconsciousness as her healing ability slowly began it's work, knitting together and mending cell after cell. It was a numbing process that was mysteriously done.

After getting a safe distance away, STP finds a safe place to rest for the night and sets Jackqueline down. Once he gets a good look at her, he can't help but be surprised that she doesn't look as injured as she looked before.
