I been contemplating joining, but haven't made up my mind yet. I do have a question though, will there be any kind of penalization for someone who signs up for a tourney and then is a no show? I ask this because Spyron has signed up, and in YDoG, he signed up for tourneys then never showed up, and was allowed to participate in future tournaments.

The Shockingly Anonymous I been contemplating joining, but haven't made up my mind yet. I do have a question though, will there be any kind of penalization for someone who signs up for a tourney and then is a no show? This issue has been addressed in the opening post. Opponents who are out of reach from their opponents and generally inactive during the proceedings will be contacted by the judging authorities and dealt with respectively.

"• If you have an issue with contacting an opponent, please let us know immediately. We will attempt to contact them ourselves and act accordingly. Individuals who go inactive will receive a match loss for that round. If it occurs a second time, they will be terminated from the tournament."
I'll even make a wall of shame in this subforum if this occurs in this tournament.
I am NOT kind to people who ditch out on responsibilities.

Possible reasons why the turn out of participants are minimal: - Deck building rules may not be appealing to many, as it takes time to build a effective deck, aka most would resort to netdecking to save valuable time and effort - Online tournaments like these can take months to complete. Due to this, player inactivity is prominent. - Not knowing what the prizes are.
My advise is: - Single elimination. The tournament will run much quicker, therefore lowering chances of player inactivity. Also, on that note, helps cut out the players who might be most likely to go inactive, as the players winning are most likely the more dedicated. - Let the players know exactly what the players are playing to win for. This gives players greater incentive to join and and helps prevent player inactivity.
Hope this helps. :V

Roll my head on floor can i get a round one loss and take spyrons place? Entry is extended until January 16th, the deadline for deck submission. If you have a deck, it meets our standards in the announcement, you may join with no penalty.

I could be interested in this, although i'm a little confused on how the actual dueling will be done. When you say step by step does that mean something like hop on skype and message it out? Or will we be using some sort of online dueling program?

If you need additional judges, I will be more than happy to help out as much as possible. I'm far too lazy to build a new deck every week, I can't even manage that for the actual game. If you need credentials or anything, I can provide them.
